Twilight Sparkle Discovers the Cutie Mark Crusaders have run out of ideas on how to get their cutie marks. In order to give them new inspiration Twilight takes them to Canterlot. There Princess Celestia and Princess Luna tell them the story of how they earned their cutie marks. The story takes place in the early days of Equestria following the long reign of the evil villain Ghastaloom. Princess Celestia convinces Princess Luna to go exploring in the Everfree Forest. There they encounter a sinister follower of Ghastaloom. One thing quickly leads to another and before long it's up to the two princesses to stop the vile henchman from exacting his plan of revenge.
This is a three part story.
