Here we go guys!

Time to get back to what Atom would call normal!

I groaned as I lifted my head up.

"Fuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuck...", I heard a voice say.

I looked to my left to see Dark, his face buried in the dirt.

"You ok bro?", I asked him.

He groaned again and brought his head up, spitting out a mouthful of dirt. He raised his hoof to his face and sighed with relief.

"Considering the fact I'm a pony again, yes."

"What are you on about?", we looked behind us to see Rhino walking up, holding his head, followed by the rest of our group.

We sat down each told the tale of our adventure on Earth. When Glare finished his tale we all realized the same thing...

"Where the fuck are we...?"

We all looked around to see nothing but trees, and we weren't in the spot of Rhino's experiment. I felt the air patterns above us shift and looked up to see Janvier flying over.

"There you are!", he shouted down to us.

"What is it?", I asked picking up on the urgency in his voice.

He landed nearby, "The others thought you were all dead!", he exclaimed throwing his hooves in the air.

"Do we look dead?", Dark said sarcastically.

"Whatever. I've got the rest of my team here, and I'd quite like you to meet them.", the Draco-Knight replied.

I shrugged, "Why not?"

10 Minutes later we were situated outside Sugarcube Corner waiting for Janvier's team to show up with the Elements.

"Do you guys realize how much paperwork I've been wading though lately?", Janvier said, rubbing his temples.

"Blame Atom and his sword.", Frag said.

"Breeze. Her name is Breeze.", I said with an anything but amused expression.

"Your sword is a she?", Glare asked.

"Why not? Problem anypony?"

"Whatever. Forte named her FGM9's Love and Hate, I don't see anything wrong with naming your weapons. Oh! This reminds me!", Janvier reached behind him and pulled out a pistol, "A gift for you Atom."

He slid it across the table to me, and I picked it up examining it.

"I know you prefer a blade to bullets, but now you'll be able to fight with both.", he explained.

"Wow.", the pistol was a simple Colt M1911 an elegant one at that too, "It's beautiful. Thanks Janvier."

[I doubt that someone who reads this doesn't know what an M1911 looks like, but just in case.]

"Yeah, why are you in your battle gear Janvier?", Dark asked.

"It's just standard issue. We don't leave on a mission withou-"

"SIR!"

We looked over to see a white pegasus mare with a yellow mane, much like Pinkie, galloping up, flanked by an earth pony mare, with a blue and red mane, and a yellow and green tail.

Janvier's brow furrowed as he stood, "Surprise, Forte. Where are the Elements?"

"We were ambushed. The griffons attacked us at the orchard and...they got away with the Elements.", Forte hung her head.

All of our collective eyes widened, "Are either of you injured?", Janvier asked them.

"No were fine.", Surprise answered.

"But another mare was with the Elements.", Forte said, baffling us all, "She took a nasty hit from an arrow to her neck."

"Describe her.", I said.

"She had a crimson coat and a dark purple mane.", Forte replied.

"That's Violet!", Rhino exclaimed.

"How many were there?", Blue asked.

"A platoon at least. We barely escaped."

"Why are we sitting here asking questions?!", Dark shouted slamming his hooves on the table, "They have my wife!"

He shot off and we followed. Janvier threw a holster and a few clips to me, "Attach it to your vest!", he called over the wind.

I complied and slid the pistol into the holster.

~Maybe we'll find a name for it when we slaughter these griffons.~

+Slaughter? Let's just massacre them and leave their corpses to the Timberwolves.+

/ I agree. None of these bastards are walking away, and I'm sure everypony else agrees. \

"If they've so much as laid a claw on Fluttershy then it'll be worse than that!", Rhino called to me from bellow, as we entered the Everfree closest to Sweet Apple Acres.

I saw from above as Forte's eyes widened, "GRIFFONS!"

[Let's get back to the good times!]

I looked further along the path and saw the griffons bringing up the rear still relatively far off. Drawing Breeze and the Colt, I snarled and speed up leaving the rest of the group behind.

That changed as Dark matched my speed. We looked at each other. We kept speeding up, the cone appearing at the same time.

The griffons turned at the wrong time.

*KA-MOTHERFUCKING-BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOMMM!!*

The Nightingale Blowout and Eternal Abyss created a spectacular display of black, red and green behind us, but we saw none of it as we dove straight at the griffons.

We impacted the ground just behind them throwing most of them into the trees around us, and most likely killing them judging by the sharp cracks we heard.

I jumped out of the crater and instantly swiped Breeze through 2 griffons' midriffs, tearing them in half.

I turned as a griffon jumped at me. I used the wind to stop in it's tracks and brought the Colt around, firing a single bullet between it's eyes.

~Holy shit, this bad boy is accurate!~

/ Just help get in Cyclonic Proton mode already. \

~+Oh yeah...+~

I felt the rush of power as my wings fully shrouded, and the energy discharged.

Rushing the next few griffons I swept Breeze upwards severing the forearm of one. I dispatched him with 3 bullets slamming into his chest.

I turned to the next as he lunged. I jumped back dodging his talons, and retaliated by whacking him with the butt of the pistol. Dazed the griffon stumbled backward where I put him out of his pain with a quick slash of his jugular.

As Atom moved onto the next throng of griffons, Dark charged a small squad. He reached for Abyss, but he found nothing, having left it on Earth.

Dark dodged back as a griffon swung a sword at him, and instead of cleaving him in 2, it passed harmlessly past, trimming his mane. He turned to his only method of defense and charged his hooves with lightning, shooting forward with both and launching the griffon back into one of it's friends.

Dark's head flew back as a griffon hit him from the side. His vision blurred and he swung wildly, his hoof luckily connecting with the griffon's temple.

Just before a griffon could jump on him from behind [Dirty minds BE GONE!] and slash him to ribbons, Rhino cannoned into it from the side, flinging into the trees.

Dark looked back and smiled at Rhino in thanks. The unicorn nodded in response and Blinked out of the way as an arrow shot at him. He activated Res and used it to help him speed to the next group, tackling them and grabbing one by the wing and using it to throw the griffon to the ground.

He Blinked again as a clawed fist tried to hook him from behind. Appearing behind the offending griffon, he swiftly snapped it's neck.

Across the path, Janvier faced down a much larger squad than any of the others, and was backed up against a tree.

A griffon swung for him and was quickly cut down by 6 rounds from Janvier's MP7. Another griffon came straight after, and Janvier sent a jab into it's gut before grabbing it by the throat and choke slamming it.

He bucked instinctively and his hooves connected with the beak of another griffon. No sooner than that one fell did another as Janvier unloaded his clip into the remaining 4 griffons.

Fragment was busy throwing his flames into the crowd from above. His grunted as a griffon collided with him and they both began tumbling to the earth. Frag twisted out of the griffons grip and headbutted it, flipped over in the air and bucked the griffon into the ground.

He looked up as another dive bombed him and he threw his hoof up sending the griffon spinning in to the forest to join it's friends.

Glare was trying not to get slashed as multiple griffons attacked him with swords drawn. He stomped a hoof and a thin sheet of metal shot up from the ground through a griffon's neck and severing it's head from the rest of it's body. The others jumped around the sheet and Glare drew Brightsteel just in time to block an incoming swipe from a griffon.

As Glare struggled with his group, Blue and Zeph went back to back. Blue charged his wings and fired off a few Wing Waves cleaving pieces of griffon off, and leaving them either dead or incapacitated. Zeph, apparently not being much of a fighter, shot off like a rocket aiming for the skies, quickly followed by 2 griffons. He performed an extremely good display of spins a flips, which eventually caused the griffons to slam into each other.

Some way away, a certain alicorn smiled as 5 griffons surrounded him.

"We made bets on who gets to kill the alicorn.", one said.

Naga smirked as shadows collected in his hoof, "Look at all the fucks I give.", he said before the shadows materialized into his scythe, and he swung it in a horizontal arc, loping the heads off 3 of the griffons.

He turned and used the handle to block another, and shot a hoof underneath, slamming the griffon in the family jewels and throwing it out of the way, before turning to the griffon that had spoke.

"Looks like all bets are off.", Naga said before dashing his scythe through the sword the griffon held in an attempt to protect himself. The blade continued on until it met hard skull bone, and then soft brain tissue.

Naga looked up from his kill to see everypony else had finished with the griffons, corpses littering the path like autumn leaves.

[Cut music.]

The Elements of Harmony had been found and were with their respective coltfriend or husband...all except Fluttershy...

A single griffon remained, holding the cream pegasus with it's talons drawn, ready to slash her throat. The entire group looked at Rhino.

His expression was flat, all until something sparked in his eyes and he stepped forward with a scowl that could frighten an Ursa Major. What made it worse was when the blue stripe in his mane turned a deathly red.

"Stay the fuck back!", the griffon said, tightening it's hold on Fluttershy. The mare's eyes were streamed with tears, and the griffon's talons were drawing a small amount of blood.

Rhino continued to walk forward though. He continued until he was right up to Fluttershy and the griffon, who still had yet to tear his gaze away from Rhino's terrifying glare.

Rhino gently removed Shy from the griffon's grip, without taking his eyes off the griffon. As soon as she was galloping away back to the rest of the Elements, Rhino roared in anger and punched the griffon right between the eyes, throwing it onto it's back.

Rhino didn't stop there, as he pounced on the griffon and grabbed it's wing, twisting it until the snap rang out across the path.

He kept pulling on the broken wing and it started to separate from the rest of the griffon's body as Rhino held it down.

Just before the wing tore from the griffon, Atom tackled Rhino and held him down until the stripe in his mane turned blue again.

"Dude, what the fuck?! You were more merciless than Zephyr, and that's not a compliment.", Atom said, helping the unicorn up.

"I'm sorry. I can get a little carried away when I get angry.", he said, rubbing his hoof on his shoulder where a small nick from a sword was.

"Dude, you need to try and keep that under control.", Blue said walking over.

"Yeah, that shit is dangerous.", Glare said in concurrence.

"Whatever. Can we head back home now? We need to prepare the town.", Rhino said solemnly, "Looks like the griffons are on their way back.", he put the griffon he'd tortured out of it's misery, bucking it in the head.

As we made our way back to Ponyville Atom caught up with Violet to check if she was alright.

"I'm fine.", she assured him, "But I need to speak with you privately when we get back..."

I'm very proud of this chapter! Finally remembered Janvier! XD
