I like the idea of Sombra actually being Cadence's father. If the book is canon, Cadence is actually almost as old as Celestia and Luna.

Pipsqueak's letter was cute, and Cadence's letter was sad.
I'm really not sure what to think about this.
Okay, the letter from Pipsqueak was a bit of a struggle for me. I couldn't get past that insult at the beginning of the letter. "A donkey with taped on wings?" I had a really hard time looking past that. I think that's suppose to be a part of the KYM universe, but that just seems pretty mean spirited to me.
The letter to Pipsqueak from Cadence was pretty good. I liked the story behind Cadence's past. I liked how she was calm and explained everything that was going on with her story and how she was able to deal with it. I liked that a lot. I do question why she would go out of her way to make a kids she would probably never meet feel bad, but I guess it all worked out in the end.
The ending with Pipsqueak did sort of make up for the comment, but I don't know. To me, it felt rather inappropriate. But maybe I'm missing something. I'm not exactly caught up with the KYM universe. So maybe there is something there that I don't see.
I thought the Cadence letter was a nice letter, the ending was a little sweet and overall it was well written. Thank you for letting me read it and I'll catch you later. Take care.
3779265 It's a joke on that Pip is very naive and takes very little as something bad. To him, when his mother told him all these things about Cadance--who Chrysalis would not like seeing as their history in the show--Pipsqueak took it as an interesting fact rather then a rude comment.
3780155 And, maybe that's explained better in the Know your Mare lore, but I haven't read up on it so I was confused. And I didn't know that Chrysalis was Pip's mother. Again, that's probably explained better in the Know Your Mare lore.
