Housecarl of Clan Drops

Something ridiculous this way comes.

E

For a few days, Pokey Pierce has been arguing with his boss about working all Hearth's Warming Eve. With one last attempt on the day in question, he tries to convince Trixie of how she's acting. When Pokey gets to the residency, however, he finds that it's just the first curve ball this day is throwing.

Takes place in the Lunaverse.
Written for the Hearth's Warming writing event.

Nice little piece. The, 'mares are subtle' line in regards to Trixie was pretty hilarious and the ending was quite heartwarming.

“…I was going to offer you some preholiday bourbon, but not anymore.”

I love this line.

When Trixie was sufficiently far away, Wind tried to shoo her son away with a wing while whispering, “Go with her! She basically just asked you out.”

God. Bless. You. For. This.:pinkiehappy:

So sweet, very in character, AND the first fic Ive read shipping (However subtly) my favorite pairing of. All. Time.:pinkiehappy:

God Bless You:pinkiehappy:

Oh this was a really sweet story. I honestly love Pokeys/Trixies dynamic and I thought you captured it brilliantly.

I also really enjoyed seeing Pokey and his mom interact. It was honestly everything I hoped it would, impromptu matchmaking included :raritywink: I now want to see more of Wind Walker.

Stealth hug cameo for the win :pinkiehappy: Call me narcissistic but that and the mention of the golem made me smile so thank you.

All in all this was a great story that capture a great moment. Well done.

Bite-sized, relaxed slice-of-life with pretty normal ponies? Sign me up! I saw some of my own Christmas celebration here ^^ Everything is just peaceful, just like the holiday should be.

It is a nice story.

Yay, more Pokey! :pinkiehappy:

That was very sweet, although I must admit a part of me was hoping for the inevitable motherly matchmaking to happen while Trixie was still there for the comedy value even if I do know it would have detracted from the core of the story. Ah well, there's always a next time where mothers wanting grandchildren are involved. Always.

This is pretty well written... You should write more fics. :V
