It's been three months since Vinyl was forced to move out of Octavia's house.
The cellist couldn't handle the constant arguments that were filling their daily lives together.
Octavia's friends and family support her decision to get away from the DJ by offering all the help she needs.... even a bit too much....
Octavia still gets angry whenever Vinyl Scratch, or anything related to her (like her wub-powered dishwasher) is ever mentioned in a conversation. She wants her friends and family to stop pestering her about it for that part of her life is done.....

It was pretty good story. Nothing extraordinary, but simple and entertaining. The last part confused me a bit until I realized that they were in Spitfire's apartment. Why was Vinyl there anyway?

LOL awesome. I must admit I glanced ahead to make sure they get back together, and spoiled the ruse for myself. Fortunatly the most enjoyable part of this fic is Vinyl and Octavia's time together, not the surprise that they actually are together. Not knowing would have stressed me out anyway, and I wouldn't have been able to enjoy the story as much as I did.
3698464 I thought that Octavia was implying that Lyra was with Bon-Bon. But I could be wrong. I've never even imagined Pinkie Pie with Lyra. That ought to be interesting. But with Lyra often being written as quirky and obsessed with the paranormal, or conspiracy theories, or humans, and Pinkie being canonically out of her mind, there wouldn't be much balance there. :P

Wow, that was great! I didn't really see that end part coming either! Well written, good characters, interesting ideas, and even playfully suggestive. I liked it a lot!
I suggest to let sink in details over time.
Makes it more subtle... doesn't break the flow so much... Or split it even harder, like on introducing a pony coming after the talks.
Breaking a conversation up like this however, feels a bit stiff to read.
To give a haircolor impression a gesture can help.
Example: The mare touched her pink locks... ;)
