Nice work. Fit well into continuity and everything, and came across as natural. Given that Equestria has its fair share of darkness, another sinister source works just fine, and it wasn't something that went against the general MLP ambiance. I like it.

Very nicely done. I really like Trixie's attitude, you capture it really well and I can easily picture her responses. The demon was a bit more difficult to picture and see in my mind's eye. I dunno if that was deliberate though.
Either way, very solid.

I pictured the demon as looking like Twilight, (same hairstyle, anyway), but with a darker purple coat, a darker-colored mane, a grin filled with sharp teeth, and possibly slitted pupils in the eyes.

Oooh, nice hook to canon at the end there. I like the presentation of the whole thing, and the fact that you could have made it pretty dark, but actually made the whole thing kinda funny instead.

Pre-Starlight, I found Trixie to be a remarkably lazy plot device so I never jumped on the "lets hate on Trixie"-bandwagon.
That said, this story leans too heavily making fun of Trixie to really stand on its own.
