Millennia later, a dark lord plans to use that hate to power a foul magic. The thought has crossed my mind on numerous occasions. But I've heard a great many things to the effect that the EqD pre-readers are a bunch of autocratic, arbitrary persons who draw reasons they should reject your story out of a hat without ever reading it.

Trixie lived through the chapter, which is more than I can say for a lot of other ponies. And just to prove that I don't hate Trixie I'll promise you this, Trixie will live through the story. I don't promise that to any other character, not even the Mane 6.

In order, nope. One of the mane 6 didn't make it. They're speaking at her funeral. Still being in-progress was an oversight on my part, which has since been corrected. And I hope so. I've been outlining my Discord story since I finished my first story. It's a little under half done at this point.

Oh, what a lovely and well done introduction. I love how the set up seems so simple and yet has a well thought out 'nail' as it were. It is interesting to see how much the loss of two lives can have an effect on a person and get the ball rolling.

I love how you are showing off Twilight's growth and understanding. The additon of Lyra and Bon Bon was a plus.
One thing that makes this story work is that the girls are still themselves, albeit in differen circumstances.

Well, well, well. Looks like those cultists weren't so crazy after all. After all, one does not demand a god to descend but invites them in. Nor do they enter where they are not welcomed, but stay on the outside waiting to be asked.
All they asked for was a little bit of harmony...though I do wonder where they were all this time? With the Zebras and Saddle Arabians? Or simply wandering?
Sombra's attack came as no surpris as it had been building up over time. I just wish we had more of a chance to see him before he went mad. The buildup to the massacre was also well done as I was on my seat the entire time.
The fight scene was fantastic!!!
The conversation of what Loyalty means and how differen ponies belief in things differently was nicely done. I love how you took a look at it and pointed out that these guys are believing i their own ways just ass hard as anpnony else. What I love more that that? The interac tion with the mane 5.

Anyway, I love how the two test cameinto this stor, feeling both familar and unique.
My compaint with this is that Rarity's test happened off screen.
The scene where Twilight activated the elements was beautiful!!
This fic, while good, is still not without flaws. Besides the Rarity killing, I feel like Sombra came too quick. I kind of wished he had given himself and therfore the rteader, more time to enjoy him before he went crazy. Also, I feel like the Doctor (Who we find out is The Doctor) was just fluff. And you do not make the Doctor feel like he is fluff. He either has an impact, is a joke, or is a pony who just happens to look like the badass from Gallifrey. And while it wasn't a problem with me, I think some people might coplain that the girls are still mostly the same.
However, these are small complaints in the grand scheme of things. The heart of the story is really well done and the comparisons to historical matters was brilliant.
