The alternate title of this story is What I Wrote Instead of What You Want Me To.

This was a rather inspiring concept, that I just needed to grasp it. It's a rather short, fleeting thing. But, I tihnk this ranks up there with my top three favourites.

Damn. Powerful.

The question of what Spike's fate after the end of Twilight's life is a vexing one. I thank you for showing how he could make a positive out of the example of her life.

This was a very nice, and interesting thought on thing... thank you!

That's right Spike, you carry that friendship everywhere you go!

That cut me real deep. Real deep...

That last line kinda makes me think of the ending of Cowboy Bebop episodes, which occasionally had odd little one-lines that fitted the session. Specifically the last episode...

You're gonna carry that weight...

Woah, deep.

I liked it, but you overuse commas sometime. Will you do anything about that? Just wondering because this story is hovering between "like" and "favorite" in my mind.

Maybe I'm just too Twilight to like this. When I think of people who strive for the impossible, what comes to mind are the folks who never give up on it even when everyone around them is against it, and wind up giving up on the folks around them instead. (I found one's blog the other day, a writer whom I'd admired for years. He'd become devoutly religious after decades of publicly proclaimed atheism, and apparently he'd severed ties with all his atheist friends after they started to worry about him. It scared me how angry and hateful he'd become.)

No thumbs up, no thumbs down. If I can't relate, I'm not qualified to judge.

I think this is the most reasoned comment I've ever recieved. You are a good person.

Wow. I really like this. A great lesson in subtlety. It also made me cry bittersweet tears a little. :pinkiesad2:

3578731 Somehow I'm not surprised to see you here, given the subject matter. :moustache:

Don't mind the update. Just minor edits.

A rather beautiful piece. Shame about Godot. :V

Honestly, I've stood on both sides of the road these two walked down. These days, I'd like to think I've more in common with Wanderer than his companion.
