Author's Note: Chapter 1 - Crimson and the Cloaked Pony
A brief summary of what's been going on since Crimson meet with Princess Celestia. Twilight Sparkle, a newly crowned princess, tries to live the life of royalty, but trouble starts to arise that can shake the very foundation of Equestria.
I plan on releasing 1-2 chapters a week in coordination with the new pony episodes. The drafts have already been written. I just need to proofread the story.

Author's Note: Chapter 2 - Crimson and the Sea Legs
Crimson, on a pearl diving vessel, meets with the strange cloaked pony when something interrupts their meeting that can cost the lives of the ship and crew.
After doing some research, I think there will be over 20 episodes in this season. What that means is I'll be posting one chapter a week until I'm out of chapters. Sadly, unless I edit and stretch the book to make more chapters, the book will end before the season 4 finale. I'll see what I can do while keeping things on track. I try to avoid unnecessary "fluff" in my work.

This seemed like a drawn out chapter and could have been considered a bit boring. However, numerous things have been explained and may give an idea on how things are done for Crimson and his kin. Regardless, I felt it was a needed chapter. I hate plot holes.

The group start their one and a half day march to face the one who stole the Elements of Harmony. With the level of trust on thin ice, tensions keep up unwavering during their travels. Can the group stay together? Can Rarity really stay a day outside of her comfort zone? How can she survive with out her baths?
Due to the amount of content still left in the story and the season coming closer to the end, expect longer chapters for the next few weeks. I may post an extra chapter in the middle of the week if the story has a good stopping point, but I may just keep things to once a week with a larger chapter. I don't know yet. Due to next week being Mother's Day, I won't be around to post the next chapter so expect two chapters to be posted on the week following Mother's Day (May 12th-May 19th). The story is getting close to its conclusion and I'm eager to hear what you think.
It has come to my attention that the finale was just aired. My scheduling must have been way off because I was under the impression that this season would air for another 2-3+ weeks. What this means is I'm now officially behind schedule as I wanted the finale of this book to be posted on the same day (or close to) to the season finale. What this leads up to is this book will be continued a few weeks after the season's end. I still have a lot to edit and a lot to post. I'd post now, but I have finals coming up and I just don't have time to edit the latest chapter. Like I said, two chapters coming up this week. Holy crap, I thought I finished this story. I'm only three years, four and a half months late.
I reread the entirety of book 1 and 2 (or what I had written thus far) to refresh my memory on what was going on. Since I couldn't find my notes on this story, or the chapter drafts, the writing is new content. I'm just hoping the ideas I had matches with the subtleties of the stories I had planned out. Yeah, but I started this snowball of unorthodox notes on book 1. At that time, I didn't even notice the Author's Note section. Then (excuse excuse excuse). Next thing I know, I'm putting it in the comments. But to answer your question, yes. Yes it would. I like to keep things consistent, so I'll deal with my lol-fail until the end.
