Wow, this story is surprisingly well written and has a good plot.  I'm impressed.  This last little section with Shimmercoat was a little weird but it'll be explained next chapter (along with how see got into the stable and where Hiss went).

Good to see a new (well written) FoE story here, definitely tracking.

When any work of art gains a huge fan base, people will want to add to them.  These Fallout Equestria stories are no longer solely written because of My Little Pony.

Think of them more like they were a fanfic for a series that isn't My Little Pony, but just so happens to involve ponies.

It's brand new.... So few comments at the moment. Now I'm thinking that CS is one of the better antiheroes I've read so far. Good mix of trying to be both a good pony and doing her "job" as a slaver. I can easily feel sympathetic towards her and her troubles. Keep up the good writing. I look forward to you future chapters.

And Crescent has an endurance attribute of 10, so she's probably fine. Unfortunately, in order to get that attribute that high, she had to gimp her Luck score...

Surprised it took me as long as it did to realize what the experiment of Stable 11 is, on account of it being the same as Vault 11.  Also, Creepers would put the fear of Celestia into any rational mind, I don't see anything wrong with her reasoning.

I've read three chapters so far and I definitely like it, dear sir. Not boring character, interesting first 'friend', and mystical weapon? Why not? It's good, real good! Keep it that way please!

Already I'm left with the impression that this is going to be one of the better FO:E side-fics on this site. I really like how you've characterised Coin Slot so far, the conflict between her religious mother's-girl  contrasts nicely with her occupation and blunt style of thinking. Lots of potential here that I'm sure you'll deliver on.

I lost it at Coin Slot's reaction to Shimmer turning around. Poor mare. Speaking of, Coin Slot's personality is still coming across well, the flashback dreams (if more than a little cliche) are interesting in as much as they supply necessary background...it's all very well done. Only issue I have is to do with paragraphing; at times it seems a few are longer than they should be. Other than, awesome job so far.

Interesting, well-written chapter; subtle improvements are continually being made in your writing style with every chapter you write.

Coin's morally ambiguous nature is coming to fruition once more, making me hate and love her in relatively equal amounts. Mesmetron appears to be mesmerising its owner to a certian extent, Hiss remains best pet, suitably ominous enviroment, there's about to be a badass escape scene... oh dear, I appear to have become a fan.

Anyway, this chapter serves as an interesting character study of our favourite little slaver, even if it is one not wholly in her favour. But eh, flawed protaganists are the best protaganists, and as this chapter proves, nopony is perfect. 'Specially like the whole Idealism vs Reality thing going on here, namely because despite reality technically 'winning', neither option can be completely condoned. Or maybe I'm just reading too much into it...

Anywho, great work once again, now on to more reading~

Not a lot to say other than great work once more! Will Coin's general ambivalence towards all equine life (setting aside herself and her mother :P) be great enough to enable her to blow up an entire city? I...somehow doubt it, there's a bit of a line between being a slaver and ending the existence of many an unfortunate pony. Sure, she'll probably tell herself she'll do it, but when it comes down to the act itself... either she, or perhaps Shimmer, will prevent such an outcome.

Also...I'm glad Crescent survived, some d'awwww was much needed to counteract the negative aspects of Coin's character.

I was slightly worried about your choice to have Coin gain a voice-in-the-head... it IS one of the more cliche characteristic to bestow upon a character... but meh, you pulled it off well enough, and I'm sure you'll make it work.

Nice! Good to see that you've established a dynamic group already, which is often the mainstay of a great FO:E fic. Hoping MG-MSII remains a permanent member of the team, the whole bombastic propaganda-spewing aspect of him reminds me of George from "Blackadder goes Fourth". Even if having It there will somewhat mute the danger of life in the Wasteland

Dayum, Coin Slot's Ma is one tough mare; but I guess running a casino would do that to ya. The spinal surgery was laden with Meet the Medic references, and on that note ouch, thank the Princesses for pain-killers. Shimmer should really have taken notes on how Coin unlocked that collar, although Crescent will most likely figure that out some time soon. Having a male presence inside your body...yeah, I can understand why that might be the teensiest bit awkward. Coin really should have just shouted "Zebra Spy!" and shot Price, would've made things easier for her. Shimmer's getting it on with a Wasteland mare he met five minutes ago. Playah. Aaaaaand Red Eye's attacking the town. That guy really seems to get around.

Also, something about Hammer seems kinda...molesty. Not sure whether that's my sullied mind interpreting "Need help finding something to put in your slot" in a really scary way...but it IS the Wasteland, and it would be FO:E without all characters having some reason for extreme mental angst.

Yup, I'm liking the light-hearted-comedy-yet-dark nature of this - it's making a really great read.

Coin's Ma is challenging to write, I can tell you that. I want to show Coin's upbringing in a clear light, and her relationship with her Ma is a big part of that. I find it interesting that when she got in trouble, she looked for her Pa, who wasn't there. Coincidence? Wait, why am I asking you, I'm the author, I know the reason.

Remember that Shimmercoat's collar is custom built by Coin, so it probably comes off different than regular collars.

Male in a female body... that's not under your control... poor Mezzer, I agree. Though how a weapon identifies as male is anypony's guess

This is perhaps the best first chapter to any story I've read. It was definitely full of character and life, Coin Slot is likeable, even if she's a slaver currently and she can show mercy, like when she killed that Pony being eaten alive.

The Mesmetron's introduction, appearance, abilities and ominousness is absolutely spectacular, espcially with how well it is described. I look forward to reading more of this excellent story.

Nice work in this chapter SirLeadHead. Definitely a Dun, Dun, Dun moment with the Stable 11 is your home now bit. It reminded me of Catface when he kidnaps the Old Lady and forces her to stay with him

Good work on the backstory in both chapters so far. You tie, Pink Eyes and this story well together and use the elements of the story well too. I can even imagine Nightstalkers are slightly uncommon animals in the waste's and see this story tying in well with Project Horizons, which was tied in with Pin Eyes. (The circle of continuity is GENIUS!)

Great chapter overall, really enjoying the tale of Anti-hero Coin Slot and her growing attachment to Mezzer. Can't wait to see where this leads, also really creative work with Stable 11, pretty smart way of giving it a twisted version of paradise feel to it .

Superb Chapter, really got to hand it to Coin Slot. She's got real moxxy and adapts quickly to new weapons. Clever how she rigged up the slave collar and PipBuck. Also respect Shimmercoat even if I don't agree with his philosophy which is pretty damned messed up, kidnapping outsiders, still given the choice of sacrificing strangers or his friends or family it's easy to see how he managed to make it sound reasonable to himself.
