Actually I think it was Peter Pan. In it he said "Death would be an awfully big adventure"
Anyway, I really liked this story and it got me thinking how I'd love this to be a huge series with like 300,000 thousand words because the cut scenes felt like snippets from a big long book. It also reminded me of "Roll of Thunder, Hear My Cry" just because of how much I thought a novel like approach to this would be perfect. All in all I really enjoyed it and I give it 10/10.
It's better to die of old age than anything else, at least that's how I'd like to go. So I didn't find it sad but uplifting as I believe in an afterlife and the great unknown is a great way to finish.
I am literally sobbing many tears at how beautiful this was. Outstanding work. Please, make more.

i read this a while back and it is still great. I just have a few things. I would have liked to know more about and the end could have been a little bit longer and imagery of her chasing AJ at the end would have been great. I believe you managed a notebook moment in this for the fact that it is super sad and happy at the same time.
This was touching, in a way. It reminds me of being a teenager all over again, and the way I was with my first girlfriend, eleven years ago. I was kind of dumb, but I was sincere, just like Applejack in this story. I don't know if that's what you were going for,but effectively bringing forth emotions is a feat any artist should be proud of.
