There is a mare who roams Equestria, showing her powerful unicorn talents to all the land so that they might be blessed by her magnificence. This mare is the Great and Power Trixie, the greatest unicorn alive! Trixie's talent is magic, so her magic is obviously the best in all of Equestria!
But... but Trixie is starting to doubt that other ponies think so... she's starting to think that maybe her parents were right.. Trixie... Trixie might be wrong...

Really liked the work. Self-questioning is a process in which everyone goes through, and is something I seem to have become addicted to. For me, however, it never seems to be at a decent time. I am easily torn to shreds emotionally after I've collapsed. I remember when my dad told my brother he would be in prison by the age of fourteen. My parents have been divorced for a while, my brother is now fourteen, homeschooled, and probably couldn't have much of a better life. Only recently has the fog began to clear for, so I am now able to tell why he acts the way he does.

I'm sorry to hear that... this is somewhat spun-off of my own troubles as well. I hope that everything turns out for the best for you! Always remember to look at he bright things in life, and to cherish the good moments. and as I like to say: Don't spend your life looking at the past. If you're always looking behind you, how can you look out for the obstacles ahead?

I tend to really like Trixie stories like this. I really like this backstory. I would like to see more, but I don't know whether I want to see Trixie's journey of self worth which ends with her meeting Twilight again or somepony finding this letter, finding Trixie and helping her help herself. Either way, if this is continued, I want to see it finished.

Quite an interesting concept. I also have a belief. When a man or woman are at the most vulnerable and weakest state, when they have nothing to lose, they are at there most reckless and there are as smart as they have ever been, with an overload of there current maximum potential. If they pass this stage, then there maximum potential will increase. Meaning if such a thing continues to re-occur in ones life and they continue to accept it and move on each time, they could go down in history as geniuses. Just my opinion.
