Ponies love order and predictability. They feel comfortable in a position of control over nature, weather, magic and the movement of the sky. Change is frightening. Perfection is paramount. When ponies begin to feel like they are losing control of these things and perfection is slipping out of their hooves, they look for something to blame. They are certain it can only be some malicious force of evil. Little do they know, their unwitting culprits will come falling right out of the sky. What ensues is a long and perilous struggle to reconcile the conflicting views and beliefs of two very different civilizations.

It was an improvement, but, if you want my honest opinion, you should have let on just a little bit more about the 'object' and the situation the world is in. It's a big vague at the moment, and if I didn't already know more about the state of the world and the origin of the 'object', I'd say it wouldn't be enough to tickle my curiosity.
That said, please don't go an rewrite it again. I don't think I could be bothered sticking around for another one.

This. I wasn't really comfortable deleting the entire story again like I did with my first attempt at writing HiE last year. Mainly because this isn't a new story compared to when it was titled Fragments of Terra, I'm just starting it over and going for a different pacing.
Btw, there's a possibility I may delete comments made before I re-published. Some are spoilers, and others are misleading because of the rewrite.

Meh a dream sequence. Still seems better done than the first time around. I wish I could retract my upvote until I saw how this was going to turn out.
I decided to remove the possibility of the dream sequence being a convenient plot device. Now it's simply up to the reader to interpret whether the dream is actually happening in Twilight's head or not.
You updated? The only difference I could see was the question Twilight asked the photo.
Twilight no longer remembers what dream she had, or if she even had a dream for sure or not.
Whether she did or not is up to your interpretation.
i hope you keep this at a pony perspective, and not go to the colony ship like you did last time. also, why did you take out the descriptions of the strange happenings? i enjoyed them.
