Dear Princess Celestia,
Last night, I hastily wrote a story which I was entirely sure would be thrown to the side like all of my previous fan fictions... However, this was not the case. I was featured within ten hours of submitting the story, and I'm getting wonderful results from my readers.
I feel as though I may have illustrated a beautiful idea of love between siblings to my readers, and I also feel as though I've fully realized how much a little brother or sister can mean to somepony.
When I was nine, I was forced to hold a newborn girl with pale skin and red, curly hair. I hated my mother for making me hold her, and I hated that baby just for being born... That night, she was given to a foster home because we couldn't take care of her. It's been seven years, and I'm crying as I write to tell you that it hurts to have wasted seven years with her already.
I hope my readers have learned as well as I have through this story how important our siblings really are... I hope none of them make the mistake I did. I don't even know when I'll see my sister Jade again, but when I do, I'll never let go of her like I did seven years ago. I'm going to have patience for her, and I'll want nothing but to see her succeed.
Celestia... I'm learning. Slowly but surely, I'm learning. I hope you're proud of me.
Sincerely, from who is perhaps your most devout student,
Celestial Brony.

Poetry can take a heart impure,
And remove from it all manure.
If writing prose helps you live your life,
Then in my boat you are, far from strife.
I cannot say what is best,
But for me, ponies, are my test.
E'ery day, when I have cash,
I'll buy up pizza - don't be rash!
I share it all with my friends at school,
All since Rarity showed being Generous' cool.
I've been through times both bad and good,
I've lived my life, and every day I've stood.
I stand up to the challenges that come my way,
And help my friends see each brighter today.
I've thrown my lot with good intentions,
And still expect for my bad, with apprehensions.
For me, ponies have been a guide,
A lot better than Formaldehyde.
If prose and poetry bring you delight,
Than may each day in your life, have a calm Summer's night.
~~
'Tis not my best, but I did what I could.
Let this help you think of all the bad and the good.
If spreading love and respect is something for cheer,
Then help me celebrate each day, of every year.
But of course, my friend.
I love to write prose,
as you could comprehend,
It's like growing from thorns a rose,
And to a love you send.
If written word is hard to compromise,
Then making my simplistic rhymes,
Are but a small achievement afore my very eyes.
It is mostly what people say, When I shower them with prose, that truly brings comforting times.
If I can help a friend in need, by writing something funny,
expect a visit from a special little bunny.
Tied 'pon his back, 'mongst wishes of plenty,
There shall be for you from me, words that aren't empty.
A bag of prose worth every rose,
In the mind's small garden.
And against the sin, people tend to let in,
My words and skin do harden.
At one point in time, suicide, I thought was the answer.
But I wrote a letter, with many a setter,
of trends towards my prose, and with nary a feeling of rotten.
With those rhymes, I laughed at the time, and death was then forgotten.
As you can see,
My mind's full of glee,
From times at once long past.
But upon this sea,
So blue, and so free,
I've found a home at last.
In this community,
There's a sense of unity,
That comes from loving a show of cheer.
The show of which I speak,
Pulled me in in less than a week,
For I held many of the same things dear.
I wish more could comprehend,
That this love is not a trend,
But something to implement.
But I do understand,
How people across the land,
Might be afraid of commitment.
If living was a sin,
Hell would let me in,
For I have lived a lot.
I try my best not to hate,
And doubled that as of late,
For what troubles it has brought.
This lesson be learned,
Or otherwise spurned,
Either way doesn't upset me,
For you might say,
That I could be gay,
And I just smile; "I'm free".
Another work of mine,
That I shamefully endorse,
Was put upon this fic,
And I feel no remorse.
Flutterheart Diaries,
is a great fic indeed,
Of the loveliest pony,
And a pretty noble steed.
And this comment I wrote, for chapter the 23rd,
Had done what I wanted,
It had been heard.
Adorable story
And you two, quit showing everyone up with your awesome poetry already!!![]()

OVER 2000 VIEWS ON THE DAY OF SUBMISSION! I LOVE YOU ALL SO MUCH! #$%^#$@$ #$ $#% @
A fic with poetry? My god, this is beautiful ![]()
Now if you'll excuse me, I think my siblings have a fire going out back. I think I have a few marshmallows somewhere ![]()

When I was 12 my little brother was born. I grew to resent him in time, as most older siblings do. But now that I'm grown, and he's 14, I can't help but adore him. He is my baby, no matter who gave birth to him, and I don't think there is anything stronger that one can feel for another being, except for when they are a parent themselves. Thank you for writing this story. I completely understood Big Mac, and, to an extent, Applebloom. I've gotta go call my brother now and remind him that I love him. ![]()
Short and sweet. I always have a soft spot for those. But after reading this, I realized something; Every story like this I read, someone, usually me, wants more, but that could easily ruin a perfectly good story. Although you could always make references back to this story, I think this is good enough.
Though me and my siblings
we rarely get along
thinking they are right
thinking i am wrong
those moments we share
those we hold dear
would not trade them for a lifetime
but forever hold them near
----Just something this small story and subsequent poems inspired ![]()
This fic was really good. I could feel the strong brotherly-sisterly bond between Big Mac and Applebloom.
The small poem lines were also a delight to hear![]()
Very good even without editting or anything.
Watching you and favouriting! Keep up the good work!
I've always been really close with my little sister, since our parents were always away with work.
When I turned 18 I moved out on my own and she came to live with me. (She was 14)
For the last 6 years it was just us two, and it was great.
Now last month she moved in with her fiance.
Although she left on good terms, seeing her go was the hardest thing I've had to do.
Siblings are the greatest, and I know I would do anything for mine ![]()
I now feel kinda guilty treating my older siblings the way I have. I'm the youngest in my family, and I only get along with two of my five siblings. I really like this story. You have a favorite from me, my friend. ![]()

Damn, I still love that avatar of yours. It matches my face while I look at it.
Actually, I KIND OF know where Jade is. She was adopted soon after we were separated, and I think she's somewhere in Washington. At the moment, we're not legally allowed to make contact with the parents, but that will change soon.
Thank you for caring.
I wanna have the 100th comment to this awesome fanfiction! I WILL BE FOREVER PROUD OF MYSELF IF I DID :D

>>309785 In the United States, a businessman runs a scam for 15 billion dollars. He gets six years in prison.
A homeless man robs a bank for ten dollars, then returns with fifty dollars the next day, saying, "my mother didn't raise me this way." The homeless man goes to jail for 15 years.
The United States is run by idiots... That is why.
And people say that they're proud to live here.
>>309793 Heh, you don't know how many times I've seen or heard cases like that. So yeah, America is run by idiots, and unfortunately, that's just how life is.
This story...it's...amazing! Excellent job! It certainly taught me something. I just hope my little brother will stop hating my littlest brother as much as he does, otherwise, I fear he may kill him one day...
EVERYPONY, WTF! I just left a comment on the Skyrim trailer yesterday, and I got a reply: "Holy shit, you're the guy who wrote that MLP fan fiction, aren't you?"

Oh, hell, I'm about to get 5,000 views in a few minutes I guess...
To my keyboard!
(already there)
>>314102 My Little Dashie was nearly identical to a story that I would rewrite again and again in my head since I was old enough to watch cartoons, usually replacing Dashie with my favorite fictional character at times. I shed one tear, and it was a good tear... It was when I read Dashie's letter that she left behind for the father.
The father was not depressed, and that was because he knew that he had many gifts in himself that were brought out in himself during his time raising Dashie, and that he could use them to make his own life better for the remainder of it. I asked my self a question when I was feeling sad about My Little Dashie: What would Dashie want me to do?
That... That was actually when my life turned around in a lot of areas.
One of the greatest things I ever read.
If you want a tear jerker with a GOOD ending, read "Decay" and "The magic never fades away" by Thyrai here on fimfiction. They're both beautiful stories, and written in equal beauty. You won't forget about them.
I type 150 words per minute, and this comment is REALLY buckin' long! ![]()
You sir are an epic writer. The manly tears are flooding my home. I have a little sister and she can be the most annoying human being on the planet at times, but I love her regardless.![]()
You know, it really is a beautiful and full of meaning fic.
I have to admit, I never lived a peaceful life with my sister around. She's only a year younger than me, maybe it was because of that. But she found herself a husband, moved out and has her own family now. Since then our relation managed to calm down a little (well, a lot, actually). ![]()
I've often heard that an only child wants nothing more than a sibling, while siblings want only to be the only child. But no one ever said what's it like to have a sister and get separated from her. I cannot even imagine how terrible that would be. ![]()
If it helps any, have this:
Was I the only one who read the title and thought: "... Clopfic."?
Or is it just due to the fact that I can't seem to get my mind out of the gutter?
Anyway, a bloody good story indeed. Well done sir! Jolly well done!
Oh, I'm exaggerating my Englishness again. Mybad. :3
oh my gosh. i hated my brother the moment i laid eyes on him. a year earlier i had lost my sister before i met her. he could never replace her. then he was diagnosed with Autism, and then countless allergies and diseases. i love him and don't want to lose him. i wish you could be with your sister.

It's the readers like you that make me want to keep writing... I'm about a fourth the way through with my next story. At the moment, the title will be: "I am a Lady." If I change my mind, I do, and if I don't, I don't.
I'm glad this fan fiction did more than I hoped it would... I remember staying awake 'til midnight the first night to see the view ticker hit 2,000 views, and now it's above 6,000... It's unbelievable.
I loved the fic, you should write another just like it except with different characters.

For everypony who commented, everypony who tracked, favorited and liked...
Thank you so much!
This story broke through the 7,000 view mark today, and I want to thank all of you. The sheer energy and joy I received from this story's success was just what
I needed to embark a career in graphics design. I'm learning VERY fast, and I never would have started without your support.
I just... I can't thank any of you enough, I really can't. I won't forget any of you, and I extend my hoof in gratitude to
all 7073 readers, even the ten who were unable to see in this story what everypony else could.
Seven thousand and more sonic brohooves to all of you. May Lady Luck smile upon you, and if you're
reading this story past your bed time...
...May you have "the most wonderful of nights."

Your welcome mate, though you've already been told how beautiful this piece of work is but still I'll say it again. You have a talent for poetry and writing, keep writing like this and you'll always succeed.
Makes me wish I could relate to others with their relationships with their siblings.
Sadly I cannot. I mean I have a brother but the last time we talked we tried to strangle each other. So not so good terms there.
Still love the story and hope you keep writing!
