Well... Makes sense to me.

So we finally found out that Alex likes pie over cake...

so they were angels or something?

Wait...soo the pair lit up...hmmm...maybe they're angels?

Welp.

Love you too, Alex.

Aww, this was pretty nice, and had a nice message about listening to your heart and giving purpose to life.
Now I'll go on and pretend I understood the ending.

I get it, but I won't tell you because I'm a jerk that way.

As much of a cop-out it is to say, the ending is intentionally ambiguous so that you may draw your own conclusions and interpretations. Yes, I do have my own interpretation, but telling you what that is would ruin part of the story's message. It's up to you to decide what you think it means. Like Pinkie said, you gotta listen to your heart.

Giggle WITH the ghosties....

A nice story, especially since I'm taking a metaphysics course at the moment. Still, existentialism isn't as compelling a mystery in a world where your purpose in life is stamped on your hindquarters.
