After Phoenix Wright saves Rainbow Dash from being banished to the sun, Twilight learns that Trixie took the Prosecution position against Rainbow Dash because of a past altercation between her and Twilight, prior to her arrival in Ponyville. When Twilight confronts Trixie, she is met with disdain and resentment. Knowing that Trixie is hiding a deep secret, she does some investigating on Trixie's past and finds an interesting discovery.

Why Hello there! I see you also had the same interest to making a story based on the final episode of the Phoenix Wright, Turnabout Storm...
I find this story OBJECTIONable.
I feel that the Ace Attorney series doesn't get enough love from this, and it's all focused on MLP.
Oh well, I love a good pony fic related to my favourite series.

I figured it could work both ways, one spell causes a physical body and person, such as Phoenix, to come to Equestria, the other brings a spirit or an image of that person's conscience. Using what Celestia said about her accidentally messing up that spell, leaves room for speculation in that kind of situation as to what the spell can do

3859994 not in detail. He mentioned her name and reincarnated but nothing much. Also remember that her friend was on trial for murder for so she probably passed the Mia thing off and focused back on the trial

I applaud your desire to tie up the loose ends from "Turnabout Storm" but let's not forget, despite being set in Equestria, it was also a Phoenix Wright story and I have to say; continuing that storyline without him actually feels...hollow

Actually it is revealed in Dual Destinies that the black locks can become more urgent to break than the regular red ones, despite the dangers, the bearer of those locks have to face the truth behind those locks in order to free them from that despair.

Trixie's backstory is suddenly sounding a lot like Edgeworth's. Seriously, a father who's a lawyer? Did you get the idea from that?
The father seems like a mix between Von Karma and Phoenix to me, always looking for the truth but never took a day off.

This fic suffers from the same thing many others. It goes too fast. I mean, it's good that Trixie doesn't hate Twilight. But you don't get over your problems that fast. That said, you don't get stuck in the middle as well. You go away, you turn your life around, then you return a completely different person.
