The Empire lies broken and diminished, struggling under the heavy yoke of the supremacist Thalmor. The northern province of Skyrim, from whence the founders of the Empire hail, is torn by civil war, as brother fights brother and the Thalmor watch with glee. In these times of chaos, a forgotten threat returns, bearing with it the promise of the end of all things. The world is irrevocably doomed. Sort of.

First and by the Nine I wonder what Pinkie is gonna be like. Also Elder Scrolls are worth more than 2k. Cheap mage librarian orc bastard.
great job, love how things are turning out thus far. Keep goin and stay golden^^
There are a few Skyrim crossovers around, but I'm glad to see this one is well written and seems to put a different spin on it. I can also recommend The Wind Thief by Cold in Gardez as an excellent Skyrim story.
So if Rainbow is the Dovahkiin, why didn't Alduin recognize that?
>>293403 Rainbow may or may not be the Dragonborn- this story is going to change a lot of things, I'm guessing.
Alduin knows that a Dragonborn is prophesied to defeat him, but he doesn't know their identity. He just assumes it's a he. I'm guessing its one of the mane six, or possible all of them: there is nothing stopping multiple Dragonborn existing in the same era, but it would be highly unlikely. Considering the prologue however, it is clear that some Deity or other, likely one of the Nine, has been messing with reality, fate and the multiverse to pull the mane six out of Equestria and into Nirn, along with humanising them and wiping their memories.
>>293565 Good point, hope you don't mind if I share my two bits.
I have two main theories on how this story is going to pan out:
The first is that Twilight is the Dovahkiin, seeing as how she has spent so much time with Spike
, some of his "dragon essence" may have rubbed off on her, causing her to become the Dragonborn when she's teleported to Nirn.
My second theory is that all six are Dragonborns. A somewhat unconventinal idea, but it keeps any member of the team that may form from one uping the others so to speak. But it would open up new roads with all six having their owns strengths added to the blessing of being born with dragonblood flowing through their veins.
One extra theory I have is that the Dovahkiin is Fluttershy, and that should be self explanatory considering the occasional croppings of Dovahshy.
But we just have to wait and see, won't we? It's not hard to imagine the writer thoughtfully scratching his chin as we debate among ourselves about his intentions, laughing quietly at our little game of guessing.
As for the gods of Nirn having any connection to them being transported there, it's a sound theory, but brings up the question of whether more than one was involved, which ones were involved, and what they seek to gain from this. On that note, there could be a new evil greater then Alduin this time around.

I love this story.
Still anticipating the entrance of the other characters however.
Patience, my friend. As co-author, I can tell you that the other characters will be introduced in time, as the story progresses. To me, it was very important that they be given places in the Skyrim world that complimented their personalities. Rest assured, Dragon Dreaming and myself have positioned the remaining characters where they both fit, and can help push the story forward. Thank you for reading our 'little' project! I admit, I let out a not-so-manly squee every time I see a new comment here.![]()
Stay Classy!

A brilliant story! AJ as the Dovahkiin is a rather interesting choice, considering it was Dash at the gallows. Not too sure as to where Rarity and Fluttershy would be, but if I were to hazard a guess, Twi will be at the Mage Academy at the very least. I can see Rarity in Solitude considering it's the Capital and there is a dressmaker in the city. Shy is a tad hard... Riften is out of the way, but a tad dangerous, Markarth might suit her more but has its own problems. Considering her close to nature... well.. nature... I could probably see her amongst the Orc Camps perhaps.
There is, of course, the idea of her living amongst the Dark Brotherhood or Companions in a 'Where you least expect it' way. Anywho, nice job all around, can;t wait to see more of this and your other story ^^
I wasn't sure if I'd like this at first, but I am completely sold on it now. I'm especially eager to see the other characters crop up. They should make for a formidable party at this rate.
IT'S BACK! FUCK YEAH! YES! HOLY DAMN SHIT, YES!
Also, I know this is set in the Skyrim universe, so they're obviously human, but this still hits large levels of irony: “Wish we had a horse,” she muttered, as they set out. It was going to be a long trek back.
AHHHH, yeesssss. So glad to see this again! Good chapter, the wait for the next is gonna be even tougher!
Also, lol:
“But what about your sister?” Dagny asked. “Wouldn’t they go after her?”
“Daddy owns half the city and likes to make points with fireballs,” Pinkie said.
“Oh.”
I vote that Rarity's in the thieves guild. Gemstone cutie mark! ![]()
But the real question is what in Tamriel would ever inspire Twi to leave the College of Winterhold ![]()
Also hoping for a Zecora side story. Yay Redguards!
Also, with mention of Daggerfall court, it gives me the idea that Rarity as a Breton makes sense
Very, very well done. Interesting choice for Dragonborn. It fits and doesn't at the same time, curious. And I'm wondering how you're going to introduce Spike; human asstistant to Twilight, dragon hatchling or leave him out altogether?
This is a damn good skyrim fic (that happens to include MLP characters). Really, the way you present the world and combat is better then any elder scrolls fic I've read. The character dialog is smooth and entertaining, You've really meshed it so well into the universe. Really it's only that fact the the equestrian names stand out so much from everything else that's weird... The dynamics between AJ and Dash both in personality and fighting styles made for a strong start and pinkie... Pinkie is Best Khajiit
Admittedly I'm biased as Khajiit are my favorite race but it just fits pinkie so well and she's been a huge joy to be added. AJ as the dragonborn was a nice curve-ball with the initial set up but as the story went along it was hard to picture anyone else fitting the shoes, a true daughter of skyrim.
Definitely want to see more and from the hints it looks like little bosmer Fluttershy will be the next to join in the fun, but likely first a short jog up the throat of the world. Definitely looking forward to more. an easy Fav.
So sad this isn't updating anymore. This is perhaps the best Skyrim crossover I've read yet, and definitely hasn't gotten the attention it deserves. :(
