This protagonist totally sounds like the War Mage from Orcs Must Die! in my head. It seems far too fitting.
I want to see how this rewrite goes. Is going to be the same Discord Apocolypse or will something new happen. Are we going to have the plants go Garden Warfare? That would be awesome.
If I remember right Barry only lost because Lyra took his stuff. Maybe he will lose for a different reason? If I was Barry I would try to find a new place instead of waiting to be attacked.
Against Zombies it made sense since they were everywhere but if he moved he would be safer.
It feels a little sudden that all of these unknown factions had immediate plans for a creature that came from nowhere.
