i'm not sure how this story got dislikes. this was good. well written, with no noticeable typos.
You know... That seems like it would be something Rarity would actually do. Think about it. Spike turns into a greedy monster again, and this time its plot that he wants rather than stuff? I wouldn't put it past Rarity to actually tie him up and tame him. For starters if she is dealing with him nopony else would be in danger. Well within her Element. Secondly, if she keeps Spike from causing too much trouble it would keep the townsponies from forming a mob and trying to have him thrown out, or from having the royal guard/Wonderbolts/whoever show up and possibly get hurt, or worse, hurt Spike. Thusly, Spike stays in Ponyville and nopony else is in the slightest of danger. I could easily see the Element of Generosity "sacrificing" herself to do this.
As for the actual story itself, I'm mostly "meh". It's decently done for what it is, but I didn't care for it beyond the simply fact that it's Spike x Rarity, and the concept. I will admit I have a large amount of bias in this though. Both Inflation and Hyper are turn offs for me in most cases. Still, loved the concept none the less. Anything similar by either yourself or others you would care to recommend?
