Stormbringer and his brother Stormbreaker make a trip to Canterlot to visit their dying father, and Stormbringer must confront the stallion who he feels ruined his life. However, while talking to his father, he realizes that the situation isn't quite what it seems, and finally discovers who the true enemy has been the whole time. The resulting confrontation reshapes part of Canterlot's garden park, and brings an emotional weight to Stormbringer's life that he was never prepared to deal with.
