Aw, dang, AJ; where is your swagger? :( You had a perfect opportunity to say "I can say for sure that I'd want to see a pony like you," and then Fluttershy would blush and go "what" and things would be awkward-mazing.

Anyway, nice writing as usual. The emotions were melodramatic and great, and while I like to imagine Applejack as more confident than this, I really can't say this reads off. Well wishes in your continuing quest through October!

On the one hand this was pretty well written, but on the other the ending feels like getting punched in the heart which is bad. Not entirely sure whether up-vote or down-vote is appropriate here...
