it was cute, im not much of a " hard sex " fan but ehh it was still nice, what does kind of get me a llitle annoyed is the fact that you always call octavia vinyls "best friend " are they friends with benefits or what are they ? in one point you do call her " her lover" but after that you call her vinyls friend again .. i mean its a little off putting , what are they ? friends or lovers ?
3307486 Well in my head cannon, I kinda see them as friends with benefits, but with a friendship type love between them. In my other stories, they're just best friends, in others they're lovers, it really just depends. So to answer your question directly, in this story, they're best friends with benefits. When I say "love" in this one, I try to imply that its more of a friendship love than a romantic love. I admit, I probably should have used a term less intense than "lovers" but hey, I'm still learning and I make mistakes sometimes
Pretty good. A nice OctaScratch you have there. I like how you show them as friends who love each other and not lovers. Interesting. The only complaint I can give is the overuse of the word 'buck'. But I think you know that already.
3307772 ohh its ok dont worry :) its just that well if they are best friends that are sexually atracted to one another well what not make them a couple ? i mean they like each other so much that there best friends and they go all crazy when there toghether ... its a little confusing, thats the wierd thing of friends with benetifs, having a friend with benefits usally is just to be intimite with that person but without having the responsibilities of a relationship, and honestly there not that type of ponies, specially octavia, hell vinyl even takes care of her so much that she takes her to bed.
but well thats just a a little idea XD
but like i said its still a cute story.
I try to make their relationship as malleable as possible so my other stories don't directly contradict it X3 but i appreciate the feedback

Hey guys... I'm afraid I have a bit of bad news. I have about 8 days until my deployment into the navy. Yeah, it kinda snuck up on me too. This means I'll have to cram as much studying and working out as I can until that time, so it's going to be nearly impossible to write until that time. Even if I could, I feel as if I wouldn't be focused and non-distracted enough to put forth my best effort, and my philosophy is that if I can't do my best, I don't do it, if that makes sense.
I sincerely apologize for leaving on such short notice but I can't let anything distract me from my career in the navy at this point. This means I probably won't be posting chapters for a long while. If I can, somehow, work on stories while I'm in officer training or whatever, by all means, I'll keep you guys and gals updated. But if not, it means that I won't be able to write for several months.
I know this may discourage a lot of my followers, probably all of them, and I'm truly sorry about that. I wish I could've brought more closure to some of my stories before I left, but there's just some things I can't control.
For Binding of Sun and Stars: I really wanted to put forth my final chapter for this story before I left, but to be completely honest and transparent, I was intending for this to just be a one-off. I was able to write a second chapter because I was thinking of ideas just in case, but as of right now, I honestly can't think of something worthwhile to end it off with. Again, I'd rather just put it on haitus for now instead of half-assing it and not giving my best effort. If and when I do come back to writing, it'll be the first thing I resume and the first thing I finish.
For Becoming One With The Beat: Prodigy: Same goes. I wish I could've finished this, but I bit off more than I can chew in the time allotted. I really am looking forward to finishing this when I resume writing (whenever that may be)
As for other stories in the future, I really don't know what's going to happen. All I can say is that if I had a choice, I'd continue writing here through the navy, but that may not be a luxury I'll have. If so, again, I'll keep y'all updated as much as I can.
If not, I'll be truly disappointed. Writing on fimfiction has given me a lot of self-esteem and you guys really helped me discover how much I love writing stories, not just for mlp. It really was a fun time and I hope you guys enjoyed everything I made for you. I didn't do it for myself; I don't want to sound egotistical. I did it for the community and the fandom. I just wanted to help make fimfiction a better place and to maybe give you guys a smile at the end of the day. I hope I did that. I want to thank everyone for supporting me thus far; you've given me the courage to put my thoughts into words and submit them to the public: something I was previously hesitant to do. I owe a lot to each and every one of you and I just want you to know that you all helped me feel accomplished, in a way. I can't describe in words how thankful I am to you.
I'll be putting all my stories on hiatus until I'm certain I can start writing again.
Until then, I hope the best for all my followers and I will try my best to come back as soon as I can!
