After her friends disappeared, Twilight Sparkle must live life alone. She can relive her friends' lives with one thing: A single letter each friend had sent her before they all vanished. While reliving those memories, Twilight will discover and uncover mysteries leading up to the event and explaining why they all had vanished in the first place.

Okay, I just read this through (both chapters), and I'll admit I'm more confused now than when I first read the summery and the first chapter.

What I'm really curious about is...are the other girls, Spike and Celestia dead (and in Celestia's case, if so, then who's raising the darned sun?!), or did they all just...disappear and go off somewhere? Was it a threat of some unknown enemy? Yet another test for Twilight? Will she be able to find them, if they all just left? (Somehow, I can't really see Applejack just going off and abandoning her family (and especially Apple Bloom. Ditto for Rarity with her Boutique and Sweetie Belle.)

Anyway, short of begging you for a sneak pek via PM, I can't wait to read the all the other chapters so I can find out what the heck's going on here. So I'm really glad that the second letter that Twi's gonna read is AJ's.
