Well, it was meant to be sort of a short, sweet, fluffy story. I guess if you look at from the perspective of doing a job everyone hates you for, then meeting someone who loves the job you do, that might make more of an impact. One of my friends has an issue finding girlfriends because he wants to be a cop and most girls he meets (even the nice ones) have a pretty negative attitude about it. Anyhoo, sorry you didn't like it.

To indulge in a meme, that escalated quickly. I liked the way you introduced Raindrops and her feelings about her storms, but then she's suddenly popping a wingie and kissing Roseluck and agreeing to go out for dinner and the end. Too much, too fast. The premise is adorable, but it feels really rushed.

WOW, I finally get around to reading this.... what the hell is wrong with me
This story is perhaps my favorite of the ones I read tonight. I do have to wonder though. Could this Thunderlane be related to the one in Big Horseshoes. Even if you never intended it to be a sequel, or anything fully related, sometimes things sneak by. Little connections... so did Big Horseshoes Thunderlane get written into this or maybe I am completely over analyzing things again.
I like this story and again, I wish you added more to the story.... Just when I was engaged and liking this plotline.... it ended
