Positively adorable.
It's a very gentle story, but very insightful, the way you identify parallels between Twilight's situation and Fluttershy's. It makes sense that they would find each other easy to be around.

YA cover blurb, what are you doing
The opening scene is perfect and the ending paints a lovely picture, but the bits in between didn't quite land for me, previous quote aside. I think it's Twilight. Fluttershy feels almost spot on this time—just a little wordy, in places—but something about Twilight describing herself as shy feels odd. I think a tweak towards "and I want to learn how to be a better friend" would've kept it from bugging me.
