well least it not the magical mystery episode spell that twilight used to switch her friends cutie marks man sadly that could happen when ya think about it imagine the cmc having one of the main six cutie marks like twilight sparkle cutie mark on sweetie bell ha disaster! and the poor mare they switch with are the blanks!

Also, why do I get the feeling that it's a very good thing that none of them actually touched the Book of Whinnied Names?

"Size matters not"? I saw it, but I wasn't sure if it was an intentional reference or just a grammatical error.
So now, all three of the fillies have taken on their big sisters' / mentors' cutie marks and talents. I'm gonna go out on a limb and guess that the ultimate result of the spell is to either completely transfer one pony's special talent to another, and that eventually Scootaloo, Applebloom, and Sweetie Belle will have all of Rainbow Dash, Applejack, and Rarity's talent while the older mares will be left "drained" of it... or, the spell actually turns you into that other pony, and the next stage is that the three fillies are going to start taking on the older mares' physical characteristics as well.
Either way... Discord is going to be pleased.

Well, I feel like I've been had...
It's about time I made another comment on this story. I'm just astounded this hasn't gotten more attention.
Let me just say that your writing of Zecora and Discord in this chapter is incredibly well done. Zecora is by far the most difficult character to write from this show (rhyming words... *shudder*), but her dialogue here was exceptionally well-written to the point where I could see it in an actual episode. And the Discord scene was... perfect. Like, perfect. Seriously. I know I might sound like some overexcited fanboy saying something like that, but it really was perfect.
Well, maybe it was just a bit short... nah.
Looking forward to the next chapter. Take your time, my good man.
