This story takes place during, and shortly after Titillating Trifecta.

Rarity gets to know with Rumble's big brother Thunderlane during Rumble's visit at the Carousel Boutique. She then notices that one certain stallion keeps spinning in her thoughts, and decides that she has to do something about it.
Is it even possible for such a lady like Rarity to fall in love with a rough and bad mannered pony like Thunderlane?

3561680 It's only incest if it's blood related, such as parents with their children or brother and sisters, etc. If Rarity and Thunderlane did marry, and Sweetiebelle and Rumble are in a relationship, that would make them brother and sister in-laws, which is legal.

Relationship between Spike and Rarity is explained in the other story that is mentioned in the description. I kinda forgot to mention that mane six is about 20-25 in my stories so Spike's a teenager now and has kinda grown out of his crush...
It's good that your highlighting Rarity's thoughts in italics but you need to be consistent. If your going to describe her remembering Thunderlane and her previous crush, you need to put them in a proper context for a story written in third-person. Either that or cut it from the story entire if it has no consequence for the rest of the story. So far it does nothing to help, and instead adds padding to an introduction that should be interesting.

Not bad, I'm already starting to like this ship a lot. I really think Rarity and Thunderlane make a perfect couple. I wouldn't even ship Thunderlane with any other pony from the show, just saying.
The fic was a really fun read, it's already in my favs.
With a bit of a polish up with this story, it could be a really good Rarilane fic, it's rather well detailed and cute. It's a shame you been gone for so long though, I'd love to read more of this pairing and others you had planned.

Awww this was a pretty cute chapter so it was one of those unexpected dates but both of them we're glad that they wanted to do this so Thunder Lane took her to the a place where they can drink and even dance which that's pretty cool and she even embedded about she never properly thanked him for saving her from that episode Wonderbolts Academy they even dance together which it was very cute then after later that night Thunder Lane took Rarity home and before he leaves they both kiss each other on the cheek again it's very cute

It looks like Thunderlane wanted to return the tie to Rarity but when he got there she was in the middle of making a dress and apparently it was a trust that she made for herself and she looks really amazing they are really cute together and it looks like they're going to have another date with each other

Another cute chapter so Rarity was pretty to go on a date with thunderlane but unfortunately Rumble told her that he got sick with the feather flu and so she has another plan she went over his house to help him to feel better and even clean up his house which dang it was really sweet of her to do that for him and not only that they share a moment with each other which again very cute I love it
Usually that always happens when a couple gets in a heated argument there's a lot of things we never meant to say but when they insult you you want to insult them back it was nice a Fluttershy giving a advice about how relationship is never easy but it can be fixed they just need to calm down and talk this over and she even admitted that she is in love with Big Mac which Rarity is fine with that so that's good
So it looks like Rarity was trying to find Thunder Lane and apologize to him but it looks like he had the same thing as well he even bought roses for her pretty funny that everybody is witnessing including her friends what's going on between Rarity and Thunder Lane but they forgive each other and even sealed it with a kiss which it is very nice now she has to explain to her friends now

Well those are very cute story I've always thought that would be a cute shipping specially what happened in the episode Wonderbolts academy but it's really really cute story and it's pretty good there was some spelling errors but it was not bad keep up the good work
