Sometimes life plays games with you. Everything you felt was important to you is taken and your past seems to have more stark moments of things you'd rather forget. Living alone and battling your own demons seems to be the only thing you have to look forward to. However, one night while walking home in the middle of a freak late summer storm in the middle of the night, something happened. Something terrifying. Something wonderful. Something unexpected.
It's an old trope, not a fresh idea, but this is a story about me and My Little Chryssie...

i read MLD and i have to say this is most def not a copy, or a cheap attempt at a copy. there are lots that try to imitate that story and fail. this is really, really good.

3167369 That was actually the first time I ever attempted to draw Chrysalis a couple of months ago. If you look at my cover art for "Rise of the Dragonking", you'll see I've improved since.
Keep in mind, my head canon has her as an ambush predator, so don't be surprised if she does an ambush or two as this story develops.

Oh this is gonna have a sad ending. The MC is comparing his experience with My Little Dashie, and he's forgotten one very important part. He's forgotten that in that story, Rainbow Dash was brought back to Equestria, so who's to say of what will happen to Chrysalis. It could be that since Chrysalis is the villain, nopony would care where she went, but it's also possible that somepony would come for her as well. That won't be good on the MC's emotional state.
