A new shipment arrives to the Sunrise Robot Researcher Institution. A recently hired junior researcher can't even wait until the next day to examine the robots that will be used to extract knowledge to improve the research of the institution. However, among the robots he discovers a very strange one... a robot that looks like a weird pony horse. It soon turns out that this "robot" will be the most interesting part of the whole shipment.
What if Equestria exists on our world map, but we do not know it, because it is hidden by magic? After 3000 years of isolation, Queen Celestia is ordered to start the reintegration to the human world.
This story happens ten years after the events of The Element of Love, although you don't need to read it to understand this one.

Intresting take on the human, pony idea, especailly with the various robot designs.
Its just a pity they are still barely 1970s tech given what I saw in university in the 80s. I mean, suprised to have heat and breath and skin and microreactions? Man, you have been on the Robo Sapians.
Anyway, the illusion thing is nice, tuned to a specific person? Read up on latest in voodoo temporal quantum mechanical experiments and youll see some suprisingly magical events.

I think I prefer the version where the deity in charge of our particular version of reality calls himself Bob, because lets face it, when you have absolute power to do whatever you want, and are in charge of everything, you cant take yourself near anyway seriously, because thats for scared mortals who have no idea if what they are about to do will feed them for today, or rip off their arm and club them over the head with it 8}
By the way, We had the tech to make Bruce Lee in the 70s. Then carbon nanospheres were discovered in the 80s and the theoretical capabilities of robots expanded by over a magnitude.
If you want latest tech? look up MIT Optical Lattice. You might know it a a wall sheild or structural integrity field, or general products hull.
Check out the latest Darpa emergancy biped robots, using hydraulics. They apparently can accidentally punch holes in walls, as they dont seem to have dropped the power density to weight to keep it similar to humans.

I wonder how much people will complain about the use of portals etc in stories, now, given in 20 years time holodecks, essentially enclosed portals to the virtual realms, would be buildable, if not for the massive legal fights through patents and tech use etc.

No. Phoenix didn't reveal his location or full name or anything. It will turn out in a later chapter, that they could only find Phoenix on the website of the institution in a "Welcome our newest member" post, that was posted that morning. That's why they all went there.

I keep finding things I want to change/fix, and I also want to continue with new chapters, but cannot do it until the NaPoNiMo evaluation, because I also had to submit the wordcount. (Poor Noble Cause had a terrible medical condition during september
and this delays the processes. )
edit: Yay, Noble just answered my letter. I can fix my errors :).
edit2: Guys, I had more mistakes than the stars on the sky. Advice to all writers: The best way to spot your mistakes is taking a few days break, then re-reading your own fiction.

OP?. You havent seen what OP is. Remember the origional Terminator? that was damaged with a simple pipe bomb? we have technology in the research labs that let us build robots that wouldnt be damaged by low yeild nuclear devices. When you can throw a cricket ball at hypersonic speeds, such a robot doesnt need weapons. Theyd be a reduction in efficincy if anything.

Sorry for the rushed ending, but after the Phoenix team teleported to Equestria and Sophie rejoined with Fluttershy, I kinda ran out of ideas for emotional scenes, and the last thing I wanted is more “give data to the reader” conversations, so instead I decided to tell those things in narrative paragraphs.

After they teleported to Equestria, both the "oh my gosh, Melody hide/run!" and the "Sophie wanna meet Fluttershy" feelings were lost. And I don't care about real-life politics... So...
