That's how it's looking so far and so far it's pretty good. A nice, easy to follow storyline with realistic problems with some witty banter to make it all complete. Gotta love the witty banter.
Ah, I like this Aurora! I've always been a fan of Fics that touch into more mature subjects, one that portray a more realistic look at life and applies aspects of life to the ponydom. Great job AD, the writing is fantastic and the fluidity is great! Keep it up!

Very, very interesting. I wonder how things went bad for Afterburn. But the little tips thrown here and there do make me think that she lied and actually is investigating them. But then again, Afterburn seems to be the only one who got "expelled" and is not rutting drop-outs. Not a mention about Spitfire and Soarin's fate. Hmmmm, now I don't know what to think.
As for the writing, spot-on dialogs and characters' actions. I seriously couldn't find any flaw in it (which means: somewhere where the writing is choppy and I had to force myself to read it instead of it coming along naturally; flow).
You got me curious, Miss Aurora. I eagerly await for more.

If I may ask one thing in canon though, does this Cloud Cover have absolutely any connection to the one of Pegasus Device? And if not, why did you pick the same name for both stories?

I'm not sure if I want them to be the same or not, but the consideration was there when I started writing.
There was a plan to have Cloud's character background involve something dark that sparked her career as a reporter, and search for honesty and truth.
But that wasn't a set plan, just an idea.
Good story but I don't get it? can someone explain the ending to me and why his life went from being what it was to what it is now?

A number of factors, depression being the main one. I also started it without knowing exactly how it would end, so I not only had no energy or motivation to work on it, but I didn't even know what I wanted to write for it.
So, now we know Cloud Cover from this story is our Cloud Cover for real, and events of this story are part of Rainbow Factory / Pegasus Device Fanfiction Universe...
can I ask obvious question: is there any chance this story will be continued?

I'd say it's a non-zero chance, cause I really like writing Cloud Cover, but like one of those non-zeros where really nobody should count on it -_-
I really don't remember where exactly I wanted this to go, asides from Afterburn telling exactly what caused his fall from grace, and them him approaching Cloud Cover to help restore his dignity--which she does.
