You know, I've read through quite a few clop stories but rarely do I ever find one that holds male zebras in it. Changelings, dragons, griffons, etc. Weird. Kudos to you for doing something different.

I have to say, that went well. Zecora wasn't very forthcoming with answers to Bloom's questions though, was she? I should have thought she would be far enough along now in her training to have those sorts of questions answered, but I guess the ritual took too much out of her... or something. Bloody zebras.
The alliteration was noticeable and worked well. Sometimes when I read Zecora the rhyming can seem a little overwrought, as if the writer's trying too hard, but fortunately that didn't happen here.
Never really been sure why anthro is a trigger warning. This would have worked fully humanised, I guess, but Bloom may not have found the ritual so fulfilling if it had been.
