Short but sweet, I liked it!
If I were to make one recommendation though, it would be that you check the first paragraph as the spacing seems to have derped out a little 
Other than that, I can't really fault this. My only complaint is that there isn't more.

Yeah, I wrote it in Google Docs. I try to de-derp it as much as I could, but I had somewhere to be, so I'll look at it again and try to fix some of that. It was the paragraph that gave me trouble right from the start in terms of formatting. Thanks for reading and for the comment!
I like it for what it is, but honestly... it sounds like it should be part of something bigger.
It would work perfectly as the first chapter in a story (since now Twilight has to figure out what happened and we have a ticking time bomb mechanic in place).
If not the beginning of a new story, it could be tied to another story as a side chapter (like Reforging the Blade if you plan on having Discord be a part of it in the future).
I just see a lot of potential here past what it's presented.
Your choice though, nothing wrong with leaving people wanting more.
