And of course, NO ONE will stop to think how Rainbow Dash could have let Scootaloo just jump like that. And NO ONE will notice the blood on her violated vagina. Or the fact that she was ripped open. Or the vomit. Or anything that doesn't happen in a death caused by a fall.
Seriously, I hate when shock-fics do this. Removes the whole point of the gore and violence. Cupcakes at least had an explanation on HOW Pinkie didn't get caught. This kind of ending makes it so obvious that it was murder that removes the shock factor entirely. Since now you know the killer will be caught and judged.

In my opinion, this was just like Sweet Apple Massacre and You Can Never Trust Anypony: you focus too much on the gross out factor and gratuitous swearing for it to be taken seriously at all. It wasn't scary; it was just gross and way out of character. There's more to horror than just gore (and even in that case there really wasn't much gore in this; gore would involve mutilation and/or blood and guts, a little more than a quick incision which gets quickly sewn up).

At least Cupcakes took time to develop the scenes and describe the emotions that Dash was feeling; it's not a good torture fic if you completely forego the psychological trauma of the torture experience and focus all your attention on the vulgarity and gross-out elements of it. A good torture fic needs to take time; torture isn't supposed to be quick, it's supposed to be slow, gradual and agonizing

Um... I never claimed it was to be taken seriously. Whether people curse me to the deepest pits of hell, or laugh their asses of I am content.
But do not think I am just saying no to your advice, your feedback is a much appreciated change from the "This is going to hell." I am making one of these for each of the characters, and slowly it shall change from a more shock and awe strategy to one of carefully arranged twists and fear.

Well, for quite a while I've been dying to read one well-done fic that gives each member of the mane six their chance to be the torturer. So far all I've seen is Pinkie's performance in Cupcakes and Twilight's performance in a few different ones I can't remember the names of. I have yet to see Rarity, Fluttershy, Applejack or Rainbow get their turns to be the killers in Cupcakes-style torture chamber fics. I've seen them (except AJ; nobody wants to make her the villain for some reason) used in bad grimdark fics that don't nearly give justice to the characters or the genre, but I want to see them used in actually good torture fics with proper psychological factors. Rainbow's performance in Rainbow Factory was good, but it wasn't what I'm looking for; I want a "victim gets slowly mutilated in a torture chamber" story, not a "victim gets thrown into a machine and dies instantly" story.
