After everything has been said and done during the events of Nightmare Night, Bubble Berry finally musters enough willpower to tell Twilight what has been bugging him for some time now. With a little help from their good friend Applejack first though.

I must admit, I don't like in relationships of the mane 6. But if its written like this then that's fine by me.
It's not everyday that I find a romance story involving a canon Mane 6 pony and a Rule 63 Mane 6 pony; Loved this one in particular.

I don't see what is wrong with one male mane six member, I mean the Dusk Shine harem (the other 5 female) stories are pretty common. Although it could be since it is Pinkie we are talking about, but whatever.

I do agree with what you're saying, I don't see anything wrong with the idea of one of the mane six being male and the others being their usual, and I am actually familiar with one story of that description, though I haven't read it in full yet. I guess the reason it struck me as a bit odd is because I've rarely seen it occur that much in my personal life, a decently sized group of friends where only one member is female or male; but, I guess it could be just because it's Pinkie/Berry we're talking about here. Hm, I'll try to run the situation in my head with the others, see how it kinda feels to me. Like I said though, this kinda thing I decided to leave up to the reader when it came to FS, RD, and Rarity. I have no problems with what gender you decided you saw fit to see them as in this story, whether it be all three are mares, all stallions, or whatever.

I don't think you need the clarification. You said her several times when referring to AJ in the story. I was actively looking for a gender though, so maybe it would be good idea.
I apologize deeply, if I did read it I'm sure I would have loved it, but I just don't like the male versions of the mane six, sorry
