A free changeling. That's what Moon Dew is. A free changeling, free from any Influences of her queen, free to do as she pleases.
She is happy for that. It means she is able to pursuit her dream. But at the same time it makes things harder.
The life of a free changeling isn't as easy as it may look.

It's my very first fanfiction. And just an Idea I had.

Well in that case I have to think about a new story.... hmmm....
I really enjoyed your ideas but some grammar mistakes made it difficult to get into the story. Like "not horned drones are not able to transform themselves if they’re starving" was my least favorite sentence. The content of the story was good even though I prefer to hear lune speak with the royal "we". Don't stop writing if you enjoy it. Writing should be some thing you do for fun and is just another way to express your self. The only way to get better at it is to practice!

I'll be honest.... I suck at charatcers
It's pretty hard for me to make them feel in character.... and I don't think that Luna will speak forever in the old fashioned way. If you remember at the end of "A Canterlot wedding part 2" where she came to the party and asked "Hello everypony, did I miss anything?", she used the " I " and not the "we" like she should have. And this story takes place after the wedding.
Well maybe I'm terribly stupid but I don't see an error at your example sentence.
It's an explanation why Moon Dew isn't able to transform herself in her weak state. She can't, because she is an "earth-pony-drone" she doesn't have a horn to cast magic.

I thought the not horned meant "no horned changeling can change when they're staving" as apose to she doesn't have a horn so she can't change. (now i know how wrong that is) Don't listen to me. And you are quite right luna would not longer be useing the royal we at this point. I need to rewatch the the episodes and read a little less fan fic.

The fact that it's already over... I was so into that story, and then it just ended. Now I have nothing else to read...

But there are soooo many more good fanfictions out there. Try Past Sins by Pen Stroke, or Hard Reset by Eakin.
Both are really good stories that I love, Past Sins even animated me to try writing fanfictions.
