That's probably the most amusing reaction to the cutie marks reappearing that I've seen yet.
I mean most of the fics have the first reaction being "Ok, who got me tattooed while I Was drunk?" But this one, could have been justified, though I do have to imagine what might be going through his head.

Plant Maxine in a crowd, and she works them into believing any claim Flim and fFlam offer. Maybe use her to demonstrate the product or service that the brothers are offering. It's the oldest trick in the book!
2953683 Have you seen the Music Man movie? It's about this con man who comes to this town and ends up leading a parade and sings a song. Flim and Flam's song about their cider machine is based off of the song, "You Got Trouble."
You know, that would be funny if Maxine ended up as a pony and she was a plant in the crowd where the Flim Flam brothers work on their next scheme. She can work the crowd with a song or maybe tell how good the product or service the brothers are offering. Then the brothers have her come up and demonstrate the product or service.
