A look into the felt and streamers mind of a pink pony who loves parties.

I expected the party guests she had when the other mane 5 had a party for her... :pinkiecrazy:

I was close, I guessed two out of three :rainbowlaugh:. Got Physics and common sense, but thought the 4th was the 4th wall. Obviously I should have known that it was up next week. Oh well, as I always say, lololol causality.

I guess a party for her too

Yes! Got all 3, well as long "to act casual" counts as casuality

238317 every party is a party for pinkie, which was why party of one was called party of one.

WOOHOO!:pinkiegasp: Pinkie Pie Party tomorrow.:yay: I'm there!:pinkiegasp: Missing Pinkie Pie's Party for the fourth wall would simply be THE. WORST. POSSIBLE. THING!:raritycry::pinkiesad2:

Alright i gave you a thumbs up just for the promise there might be a 4th wall thing later....crap ill watch this also lol

Yeah, I'm going to Track this just in case you actually do the 4th wall party...
And if I really am invited, I'd love to help out! :D

Your grammar is awful. Fix it.

4/5, fav.

241635 If you'd like to offer some constructive criticism on how to write in character as Pinkie Pie, while somehow retaining proper grammar, I would be pleased to hear it. :pinkiesad2: Failing that I fear it's a cross I must bear. The only way I can properly invoke Pie is to take the grammar, logic, and reason centers of my brain off the hook. :pinkiecrazy: I would go so far as to say if you've written Pie with proper grammar you are out of character by default. Thank you for reading.

When writing dialogue, you're allowed to break normal conventions in favor of keeping people realistic and in character. As for the narration, that's something else entirely.

241698 Well I looked over what little narration there was. When I looked at it as a reader vs a writer I could see certain word choices that didn't flow as well as others. If you'd care to give it another quick read I'd welcome your assessment.

I want to go to the party for the fourth wall... :pinkiehappy:

42? I see what you did there.

I don't see what you did there :c
At first I thought it was the amount of episodes, but there are 52 episodes Dx

1229866 :trixieshiftright: I am a giant nerd who happens to love Douglas Adams.

1229874 And I seem to be a giant idiot who doesn't know who Douglas Adams is. Dx

1229876 Oh my, well, allow me to enlighten you. Douglas Adams wrote the Hitchiker's Guide to the Galaxy, as well as 4 other books in the very poorly named Hitchhiker's trilogy.

Now forty two:

Popular culture
The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy

The number 42 is, in The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy by Douglas Adams, "The Answer to the Ultimate Question of Life, the Universe, and Everything", calculated by an enormous supercomputer over a period of 7.5 million years. Unfortunately no one knows what the question is. Thus, to calculate the Ultimate Question, a special computer the size of a small planet and using organic components was created and named "Earth". This appeared first in the radio play and later in the novelization of The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy. The fourth book in the series, the novel So Long, and Thanks for All the Fish, contains 42 chapters. According to the novel Mostly Harmless, 42 is the street address of Stavromula Beta. In 1994 Adams created the 42 Puzzle, a game based on the number 42.

The book 42: Douglas Adams' Amazingly Accurate Answer to Life, the Universe and Everything[13] examines Adams' choice of the number 42 and also contains a compendium of some instances of the number in science, popular culture, and humour.

1229889 Ohhhh I get it now.

I see what he did there. ;D

Hah. Funny. xD

i give you 5/5 mustaches, i'd give you 42 but it seems more than 20 will have them stripped
:moustache::moustache::moustache::moustache::moustache:

I regret nothing.

Dr Adorable got a sidekick, I see.

Wait until later and see if you keep that tone, mister. :fluttercry:

And I half expected Discord to fly up to Twilight and call her a party pooper. Or to commend Pinkie on a job well done. Or both.

The only thing I find unrealistic about this is the idea that Pinkie cares about money.

(Currently shaving my Read Later list of smaller stories)

...hmm. It appears this is officially my first exposure to your writing. I am so, so sorry.

That said, I had a blast. I got all the references but at the end of this I wanted to drive my head into the desk repeatedly. That's how I know this was done correctly.

This is actually my favorite kind of Pinkie -- the one where the laws of the universe are reduced to merely "good advice." Guidelines, if you will. :pinkiehappy: Thus temporarily destroying my mental functions. It's like drinking but way cheaper!

Good stuff. Can't wait to dig into your more traditional works. If something crazy is this fun, I can only imagine how a story meant to make actual sense should fare! :rainbowlaugh:

3063037 :pinkiehappy: Well, I suppose if you can read the shorts I wrote without an editor back before I had much of a clue of how to properly write and are still willing to talk to me, that's a good sign. I simply adore Pinkie as a character, she takes some mental preparation, but she's just so much fun.

3063269

Heh heh. Well, you're talking to someone who's gotten this far on two character editors and zero grammar editors. :fluttershysad: Think we'll be fine, really. Also I have massive respect for anyone who can write this kind of Pinkie, since I have tons of trouble doing so even with help.

I've got your longer stories on my list too, so you'll see me again! All the best!

"Dear friends, we are gathered here to mourn the death of the fourth wall." <-- best. chapter opener. ever!

Whaaaaaaaaaaaat!!?
What! What!
Seriously!
Very strange but very fun
Good job!!

Rest is pieces, 4rth wall that’s been stretched too far..
