It has been a hard first week for the new princess, Twilight Sparkle.
But what happens when she discovers a book that can lead her to the knowledge and power of all reality. Being a egghead and all, she couldn't resist the temptations of such things.
Now she must travel through the realm of Daemons to get there.
Will she return with her sanity? Or will she become their playthings?

Okay. Twilight kind of seems, what's the phrase I'm looking for, a little OOC. Now let me tell you, if this had been a pre-series Twilight, then it might have been more believable that Twilight would openly trust some sentient book that warns her that the place she's going to has great dangers, after it apparently sampled her blood...Actually, why is she blindly thrusting herself into this?
This seems more of a move Sunset Shimmer would make, as opposed to Twilight. Although, Twilight is a good person and knows where she stand, so chaos would have a harder time finding purchase. Not mention the fact that she is an Element of Harmony, thus chaos would find it harder to corrupt her. (Not impossible, as Rarity was corrupted by those shadow demons...I like to think that the FIM universe has a chaos god of Darkness.)(Still, Equestria Girls showed that the Elements are linked with the bearers, hence why Sunset's attempt to kill Twilight backfired and instead gave Twilight the power to defeat her.)
Thus far, this reads more of something Sunset Shimmer did when she left for the human world. Her thirst for knowledge and a means to please Celestia/gain power herself were insatiable. Still, it took the Elements of Harmony to set her right. (After she turned into a demon...I loved that. Demons are canon...though the comic kind of did too. Just shadow demons.)
The same for Trixie, after Twilight defeated her. A thirst for power and knowledge to defeat her rival....I don't know about Trixie's reasoning. Twilight pretty much saved her. But then again, she showed her up. Still though, I think Trixie would have it in more for Snips and Snails (bringing the Ursa Minor into town, and showing everyone she's a fake) and Rainbow, Applejack, and Rarity (They hassled her for no other reason, then because she's a show-off. Really? She's supposed to do that. It's her job.)
This tells us the type of pony Twilight is and how she's better then that. (Tzeentch is more likely going to find an interesting 'chess' opponent in this game.)
Of course, I just hope for a good/happy ending. It's a thing Don Bluth did with his older movies. (Secret of Nimh, The Land Before Time, An American Tale) People, children for example, can handle dark and terrible things, as long as they have a happy ending. Which is going to happen, what with chaos being chaos.
That's just me though. I'm not a fan of downer ending and they usually deter me from picking up a story again. {Still, this is your story. Do as what you see fit. Don't let someone's opinion deter you away from what you want to do.}

Pinkie and Khorne is an interesting choice. Most likely, it'll be a comedy, knowing Pinkie. (Khorne's methods and stuff would never work with her, but it'd be hilarious to see what would happen.) Cegorach though may fit Pinkie better, but he wouldn't try and corrupt her. He'd probably see if he could have fun/use her. (It would be also interesting to see some Eldar gods...Yes, I'm away that there are only three left and that Cegorach is the only free one.){Of course, you're going with chaos gods, so that's that.}
Rarity and Slaanesh are an excellent choice.
Zecora and Nurgle....No idea how'd that go. I'll see how it turns out.
By the way, hasn't Tzeentch been known to appear to mortals in the form of a book before (you know, because all who look upon his 'true' form will tear their eyes out)?

But one of the upcoming chapters will have a lot of meat to it. Even thought the entire chapter is just Twilight finding her way around a place called The Crystal Labyrinth.
