It is not even that we control different orbs in the heavens. No the difference between us is that for the last thousand years I was here!
Oh Faust, Luna I am so sorry. Please don’t read this.As dragons flew over Equestria in their hundreds I was here. As enemies rallied their troops along our borders it was me who met them and through whatever means I could turned them away.
I can’t erase it or I would. I don’t know what I was thinking I was just so angry. Do not pretend little sister that you are in a place to judge me much less one to call me out before my court. You have only made a fool of yourself and for once I cannot help but laugh along with my courtiers.
Please do not believe a word of it.I have run out of patience for you sister. My decisions have not always been perfect but I was here to make them. Tell me what nation did you lead from the moon? What flock did you shepherd? Those you consider yours hid themselves away for you and proved their faith misplaced.
This was not me, this was some beast of fire and anger in my heart. I went to them, time and time again I went to them but they spared no words for the sun-hag and had no desire for the gifts she brought. Look closely at the poverty of your tribe and know it is your fault. C Forgive me sister.

I figured it was high time we heard Celestia's (relatively) uncensored say. How will Luna react? we'll just have to wait until next chapter to find out

Considering that Luna likely tried to call her out in the middle of the council, and all the other things listed in the diary, it'd probably been bubbling under the surface.
Luna at this point kinda needs it a bit.

hopefully Luna realises that she needs to grow up a bit and starts to see things from several differned perspectives insted of only one and then walk that path to the end.
and she needs to understand that she isnt perfect and makes mistakes instead blaming everything on erveryone else

Clearly Celestia regretted what she said/wrote, realizing after she said it how much of it simply wasn't ture. Hopefully Luna will see the difference between her sister's frustrated out burst and her true feelings

Luna needed to hear those words. It's time for her to get over her inferiority complex and face the mistakes she's made due to her arrogance and refusal to join the modern world.
How will Luna react? She will rage, curse, go to some empty place and tear it apart with her magic. She'll return to Canterlot and come up with six utterly unworkable schemes to overthrow Celestia, then storm off to Ponyville and pour our her heart to somepony (it would be funny it if was the gently-uncomprehending Derpy Hooves who just offers her a muffin and a tea to cheer her up). Ultimately, Celestia will find Luna in her tower, crying her eyes out and not even sure why she is weeping.
The two Celestia Sisters have so much mistrust, pain, offence and mutual anger festering between them, none of which they have ever really addressed, only tried to sweep under the carpet. The events of the past two chapters is just an outcome of this fact.

Ouch, I know Tia was angry, but that would sting. Hopefully this won't upset Luna too much.
Luna does need some tough love though.
Whoa. At last Celestia cracks. I really wish she'd do it more often. Equestria would probably be a better place.
