This story is a sequel to The Doctor Whooves Chronicles Episode 4: Under the Sea
After attending a crazy wedding, Derpy asks the Doctor to take her somewhere relaxing. However, their plans are changed when a unicorn by the name of Twilight Sparkle stumbles into the TARDIS and the TARDIS takes them to a war-torn planet over 600 years in the future. Things only get worse when the three travelers are taken prisoner, but this is only just the beginning.

With the last episode ending with them on their way to A Canterlot Wedding, I thought the next installment would the Doctor and Derpy running around the background of A Canterlot Wedding. That probably would have been too dull anyway. I like the allusions to that episode though. This though does look like it'll be interesting. And we've finally come across Twilight Sparkle in this story!
I enjoy seeing Twilight, Derpy, and the Doctor travel together. 
"That's not a name! It's a title! Doctor? Doctor who?" I always love it when that happens. In these fanfictions and on the show! The Doctor just can't avoid getting slapped by females, human and pony alike!
What this story really needed was a little Twilight Sparkle! 
I really like the aliens that appear in these stories. They have a proper blend of science-fiction and fantasy that seems to fit the blending of Doctor Who and My Little Pony. Nymphadora and purple. Sounds like a Harry Potter reference! Sweet.

Thats different, thats a preview of the next episode. The only episodes that are left on cliffhangers are the episodes that are in multiple parts, and the ones that are part of the main story arc.

The Tomb of the Twilight King kind of reminds me of the Doctor Who episode "The Rings of Akhaten".
