Octavia Adagio is not enjoying her new home. Noisy neighbors, bad music, and middle school are just some of the items on her list of things she hates about her new Manehattan suburb. At least she has her music by her side; and as far as she’s concerned, that’s all she’ll ever need.
Or so she thought. Her first day of school turns into a doozy when a young unicorn with a penchant for talking decides to be her first friend. How will the normally refined tastes of Octavia mix with those of the arrogant Vinyl Scratch? I can tell you this; It probably won’t be pretty.

372953 I wish I could say it was because I left them speechless, but it's actually because I deleted the original first chapter that had all the comments on it. It was so that I could basically restart the entire beginning, but I had no idea at the time it would delete the comments or get rid of the the number of views. It was a major blunder on my part; I never thought about just re-editing the first chapter with my new material (honest mistake).
I'm very glad that you like it. It really motivates me when I know that people enjoy what I write.

...Anyways, despite that silly display above, I did rather enjoy the story. It took a bit to get into - I actually got into it at around chapter two, and then it all just started flowing at chapter three. Hope to see more from you!
641937 Thank you for the compliment. I'll admit, my chapter one isn't the best. I'm trying to give background, but it seems that every way I write it, it just ends up boring. I'm trying a new beginning, though, and hopefully it'll be more interesting. Stay tuned!
