Luna is back, but she doesn't feel connected.
She will continue her duties alone, as always.

Pinkie did it first in the "Hearthswarming Eve" play.
Luna walks through dreams to dispel the nightmares of others. But, who will dispel her own?
This is an interesting look into Luna's dream-walking abilities, and how much good she can do. I'm not sure who Alula is (the character tag lists her as Other, making me think she's a background pony or something), but it's nice that she showed the Princess of the Night some love. In the end, that's all Luna ever wanted, right?
Good work.

Right you are!
Alula's the pegasus seen giving Diamond Tiara a Hearts and Hooves Day card in the H&HD episode. She's either a horrible judge of character or a real sweetie.
I sure think so.
Thank you kindly.
Nicely done!
Congratulations. This story has good enough grammar to be added to the Good Grammar Directory, a comprehensive directory of grammatically correct stories on FIMFiction.

Thank you (and thanks for a little free publicity, too (at least, i'm pretty sure that was you, you're in all the new groups Luna Loved was added to...))!

Awesome! Thanks for taking a look.

Yeah, that was me. You're very welcome. Good stories deserve to be shared.
You know, I'll admit that I've always been on the "no, she was really in the moon, except when it's funny" side of the Luna Banishment Debate. Fortunately that's really a moot point as this story is about a much less worn and much more awesome concept.
Well-written, energetically dramatic and heart-touching. Glad to see more people exploring Luna's dreamwalking side and what it means for both herself and others. With so little screentime, she needs all the depth she can get! Upvoted, and welcome to Heartwarming!
(Also this is in like almost no Luna groups why. Time to fix that...)
Stories like this make all the sifting worth it.
That was very enjoyable, thank you.
Poor Luna has always been mistreated by the show.
I enjoy stories where she can be more thoroughly examined as a character.
Those thousand years must have been hellish. It does make me wonder if she was allowed to continue her task as the dream princess while on the moon.

Thank you again. I'm reminded of why I like this community.

Oh, I'm right there with you as far as "in" the moon goes. I didn't really get into that here, because I was more focused on what it was like for her, rather than where she was. I certainly wrote it with that mindset.
I love the potential she has for all kinds of stories. It was my pleasure to explore her a little bit here. Thanks for the kind words!
'cuz i'm not in any Luna groups. It's about time to fix that, too!

Glad you liked it. Nice to know I'm doing something right.

Thank you for saying so!
Considering the moon was complete sensory-deprivation, i'd highly doubt it.
I like reading good little stories like this. Keep up the good work man.

Thank you for the compliment! I enjoyed writing a good little story like this.
I, as always, intend to!
You know, the fact that the moon is entirely sensory-deprivatory reminds me of a certain story I read a while back.
Luna, soon after her return, is acting completely drunk, but hasn't had a drop of alcohol since before her banishment. Celestia tries to find out what is going on, and finally realizes that Luna is experiencing sensory overload. She is literally getting "drunk on life." This sensory overload results in many humorous reactions on the part of Luna to everyday things such as clouds, grass, and chocolate.
Anyway, both this piece and Celestia Wept were extremely well written. I have upvoted both, and consider these to be excellent works of art.

Gasp! I know the story you're talking about, but I don't remember the name either. I almost think it was Luna vs. a Toaster, but that can't be right...
If you do figure it out, drop me a line.
I actually think that it was part of my inspiration for the scene on the moon. Go figure, it comes full circle!
D'aw, now you got me blushing all over! Thanks!
This is pretty late but I think this is the story you're thinking about.

Oh yeah! That's it exactly! Thank you for finding it.
Now that I think about it, I really should have remembered that chapter. That one in particular is pretty inspired.
