Awnser: He had personal dealings with Celestia, John has an uncanny ability to spot a good business deal from forever away. Celestia needed human currency, and John could see even then that somewhere down the road, everyone would become everypony.

Simply put, John and Celestia dealt with eachother often in the beginning of the coversion bureau events.

The idea that Celestia or Luna (or whoever handles one's conversion dream) secretly decides what sort of pony one becomes is pretty amusing, especially if nobody else, ponies included, know this. The idea that Cadence would so casually let this secret slip is also pretty funny. I also like the idea that newly-married Cadence now has to take up new duties as the goddess of love at Celestia's behest. I think it's sort of the alicorn equivalent of your dad telling you to get a job.

I usually don't do full frontal cameos in AAF and will continue this in Moving On. Pinkie Pie planned Azure's birthday, Derpy taught John how to fly, Luna crashed the PER HLF war in Ch. 3 and Yes, that was the cutie mark crusaders, or at least, a  branch of them

Hey Krass!

I just wanted to say that you're eliciting quite a few grins out of me with this story.

After having just read the most recent chapter (The speed dating scene), I just want to say that, while normally I'd expect these sorts of scenarios to just kind of bleed together and not really leave and impact, I was practically getting character whip-lash every table that John visited.

Each character John visited either felt like full characters that could be in their own story, or they were detailed enough and in such a way that they could be fleshed out into a complete and growing character. Very Entertaining! You could have just kind of put out a whole bunch of "not" characters to fill the space, but I appreciate the amount of effort you put into them. Bravo!
