Interesting start. I'm looking forward to seeing more.

Hmm. There's a lot that happened here that's going unsaid. You definitely have my interest. I look forward to more regarding future and past alike, especially what happened to the other Crusaders (and Dinky, because daughter of bestpony.)

Oh, and I can't tell if mentioning Scootaloo's father without describing him is brilliant or cruel. Possibly both.

Brilliant idea! Can't wait for more :pinkiehappy:

An interesting idea. If one team of Elements is good than lots of teams should be even better. Especially if anyone is killed or injured.

With a contented sigh and a slight fixing of my ‘do, I tossed him a bemused look.

Your apostrophe is the wrong way round; apostrophes are closing single quotation marks, not opening single quotation marks. And bemusement is bewilderment, not amusement.

Besides, we’d probably get to know eachother in Friendship Camp.

Space out "each other".

In this order:
That's just what happened when I pushed the button on the keyboard. Darned smart quotes and software trying to figure out what I'm doing instead of just putting the standard unicode apostrophe in there...
Whoops. Slip of the mind. Not sure what I meant to do there...
Whoops. Slip of the fingers.

I want to say something here about how your efforts are appreciated, which they are, but since I'm a lazy butt who rarely fixes anything after publishing and even more rarely actually reaches out for an editor, I'm not sure it's worth your time to do this for me. I uh... I don't think I've fixed anything you've pointed out in any of my stories.

Some stubborn kind of "If I can't write compelling stories, I can at least write mechanically serviceable ones gosh darn it!" or something. And then other people's input somehow invalidates that? I don't know. I'm being a derp. I'll go fix the first and the last now, tell myself I'll fix the other one tomorrow when I remember what I meant to say there (amusement's not quite it) and wind up forgetting about it, then carry on.

You can carry on in any fashion you like, but I worry I'll be too busy/lazy/stubborn to respond to most of these sorts of things and it'll feel like I'm ignoring you. I don't want you to think I'm ignoring you. You're cool. You even have shades.

Whoa, thank you for the thanks! Hey, it's cool; unsolicited corrections neither obligate you to make the corrections nor obligate you to thank the proofreader. And even so, you're not ignoring me. Neat.

I'll post corrections of your stories when it's not any trouble for me, then, like this short little four-thousand-word chapter in which I saw only three typos.

Ew straight ponies ew. :fluttercry:

Seriously though, I like it. Backstory's sure to be interesting when it's fleshed out.

Well this is interesting. So something bad happened to Ponyville. And now they want lots to Elements of Harmony groups for multiple rainbows of death.

Dracopocalypse? Yikes. :twilightoops:

Still, glad to see this update. Eagerly looking forward to more. I love a good non-straightforward test of character.

I appreciate you putting this up so soon, but I hope you don't make it too much of a thing between Scootaloo and Rumble.
Good, enjoyable chapter, especially Pinkie's test.

I don't want to spoil things, but... there is a factor at play you are likely not seeing. There's like, one and a half vague hints in the right direction, but nothing specific.

Whether they end up being a thing or not, there will be events other than "I like you blush blush blush do you secretly like me too okay let's make out."

“Are we even sure it’s that simple? They have to do more than just tell us to be the elements over and over.”

I love that line. Can't wait to see more of these not-so-simple things.

The ponies seem to collectively hate dragons now, so I wonder what that means for Spike? :fluttershysad:
