An old writer polishing his ways, giving feedback, and helping fellow authors. Nothing more.

"Every ten thousand years, something within me changes. It grows with me. Evolves with me. As such, the world must do the same. So it had been since the beginning. So it shall always be.”

Rated "Teen" for suggestive themes, and dark themes. I... I feel terrible for writing this.

Well I liked it, had a very interesting concept.

:twilightoops: Wow. That's disturbing.

Anyway, this is really good. Definitely haven't seen a concept as interesting as this before. I really liked the reflective Discord, not as funny, but actually kind of unnerving. When Discord is being serious, you KNOW there's a problem.

The only problem I had with it? TWILEY NOOOOOOOOOOO :raritydespair:

..............., i was not expecting that

Wow... Really deep stuff. Liked and faved... I need to go for a walk now...

I in no way saw that one coming. :rainbowderp:

Whelp, my heart is now beating out of my chest like a jackhammer...

Not a bad story but, like Twi, I must ask: Why? If Discord's birthday is every 10,000 years, and he changes ever so slightly, and the world must change with him, how does he change? Why does he change? I know it's probably supposed to be some unexplainable Discord concept of some sort, but I can't help but be confused. Of course, that could've been the intent. If Discord changes every birthday he has, shouldn't the end result of said birthday be different, rather than just the entire destruction of what he'd created? And also, if he's a spirit of disharmony and can both create and destroy, should there not also be an opposite force to match him? UGH! Curse you for making me overthink my overthinkingness!

Oh, and, cool concept and such. Pretty well-written. If you can get an emotional response from me such as this, it was a good read in my book. Great job, especially for originality.

Still thinking about those questions, though.

Love always and forever,
-Ghost

Ah-Ha! Thank you for your full--and rather unexpected--review!

As I mentioned in my A/N, this was supposed to be for Thirty Minute Pony Stories on Tumblr. Didn't give much more thought than, 'I want that motha f**ker to destroy EVERYTHING!' Thus, I crafted this.

And I still feel awful about it:fluttercry:

Besides, I haven't wrote any friendly scenes with Twilight and Discord before. Nice little change there. Thanks again for your input Ghost.

Craine...

2748278 Any time, my friend. However, I must ask. What is your profile pic of? I feel like I should know it, but it bugs me when I see you on the site. Everytime, I'm all "WHAT IS THAT GUY??" :rainbowlaugh:

?!?!?!?!?!?!!?? The Avatar of f**kin' Chaos, Abselom! Wait... you ever play Darksiders, or Darksiders 2?

2748350 AAAARRGGGHHFLARGLBRAWN!!!!!! I THOUGHT IT WAS!!! UGH!:facehoof:

I played the first one. It was pretty awesome. The second is on my list to play though. i'm just glad (supposedly, to my knowledge) that somebody picked up the IP so there may be a 3. The 2nd actually sounds better to me than the first, as its more RPG based, and I dig that. A lot! :pinkiecrazy::heart:

Thankies, though!

No prob, Ghost. No prob.

2748375 Ya know.... Your name gives me the urge to put my best friend in a radioactive room, while I watch him die slowly and heroically, then scream CCCCCRRRRAAAAAIIINNNNNEEEUUGGHH!! when he dies for some reason. Or when "you" leave me deserted on a planet. Cause ya know, Shatner be Shatner.

If I wasn't an honest person, I'd say I get that a lot. :trixieshiftright:

:fluttershysad:... :fluttercry:

I saw it coming but I just wasn't prepared...

Yet at the same time I was.

this is an intresting plot development at the end
*its officals humans are now headcannon*

I love this. 10 out of 10. Just... so good. :rainbowkiss:

Bipeds with a superiority complex... sounds about right.

That monster.... how could he?... :pinkiegasp::fluttercry:
