So yeah, that was Lyra being eaten.

:duck:

EDIT: I forgot to mention the fake-out at the end was funny. Interesting characterisation as well.

Well, alrighty then. That was a grand couple of minutes well spent.

No, really.

Lyra is a weird mare. That pretty much sums it up.

How ironic that, in the one and only LyraxSpike shipfic in all of existence, she's interested in tongue rather than claws.

It's a fake fake-out ending! SO META.

2706923 And his teeth!

2707087 It's so meta even this acronym?

Oh, neat! :pinkiehappy: this should be interes-

...well shit. :ajbemused:

Another Vore work and a funny one too, with delightful detail and surprising attempt at characterization. Very nicely done! :D

Another great random Lyra vore fic, it's weird, almost as if it's attracted to her. Thumbs up! :pinkiehappy:

Normally I hate gore fics, but that ending made up for it. So I gave it a like

Good story, bro.

What the actual hell Lyra

This was surprisingly good. While the premise is basically a textbook setup for a pointless gore fic and the story was amusingly messy as expected, you had real characterization and a strangely believable setup to elevate it above the simple splatter I was expecting. Lyra's characterization was not only present, but also served to add a layer of taste to the expected bloody mess along with a real, if short, plot.

So are the memories of Lyra in the new one, essentially making her the same?

7702449 That's her explanation as to why she seems the same to all her friends. Assuming she's telling the truth about what happened.

(if she's not telling the truth, Guards and Monsters has an explanation for what might have actually happened in the first chapter)

It kinda creates a bit of a Ship of Thessius problem; if you change all of the parts of something, is it still the same thing?

Kinda feel bad for Spike though.
