After messing up a trick, Rainbow Dash plummets into Applejack, who was in the wrong place at the right time. The Main Six, as well as Spike, find themselves puzzled by the appearance of an odd, red sticky liquid, seeping from a slit in Applejack's leg.
Can they find out what this stuff is or where it came from? Can Pinkie prevent it from taking over the world and destroying everypony?
Stupidest idea ever.
THEY KNOW WHAT BLOOD IS! THEY AREN'T RETARTED!

You're a thousand miles away from the point.
This story still sucks though.

Dost thou have to insult everything you read?
With, I might add, incorrect spellings in your own comment.
'You bleed just like them.'
Ok, that's the new creepiest thing I've ever heard Lyra say.
2868307 dude its just for shits and giggles

Well, I've never seen blood in the show.

Oh. Thanks.
Lol i caught the reference in the beginning to Griffin the brush off "only for you dash/pinkie"
I get the idea that this is just supposed to be a silly thing, but I feel like the story was about three times too long for what it needed to accomplish. It might have been better to gather up everyone for a group meeting to deal with the problem instead of hitting all the other ponies one by one.
The dark humor of Lyra only undermines the naivety of the other characters, especially since if she already knows that humans can bleed to the point that she can identify blood, you'd think she would already know what needed to happen FOR them to bleed, or at least get into the line of thought; "If humans have blood inside them, what do ponies have inside of them?"
Plus that thing with Pinkie inflating finger buds out of her hoof and showing it to Lyra has been used SO much in fanon, and it's NEVER been done in a way that doesn't come across heavy... handed.
All in all, I think the story needs some heavy revision, and though it would mean losing a lot of good scenes that worked on their own, the overall improvement of focus would improve the story that would be left.

You make valid points, but I have one rebuttal. In this story, Lyra is the only one aware of humans. The others disregard humans as pure mythology, so they are unaware that they can bleed like them
