One modification to make it more plausible according to show canon:

If we managed to sneak in a Changeling disguised as you tonight, it would be a huge step in our plan to murder your entire species.

I'd change murder to enslave, judging from what happened at the wedding.

Draining the love, like in the comic books. (Their cannon is questionable, but I liked the idea).
I'm starting to see your point, though. Maybe I will change it to "enslave"; it makes more sense in the story as well as FIM.
