Also, you kept it in good spirits by having Rainbow Dash play as the awesome Captain Falcon (He's not my favorite F-Zero Character though. Dr. Stewart, James McCloud and Phoenix rank higher than him). This chapter has great pacing as well.

It's funny you bring up Dr. Stewart and James McCloud, as they both show up later on. As for Phoenix, I'm still not sure what it is I want to do with him, so he may have zero direct impact on the plot.

Yeah I honestly couldn't see Phoenix being in this particular plot because it would be random. But the reason I like those three is because I appreciate the Golden Fox's boost, Little Wyvern can hit very fast speeds due to the nature of its boosts, and Rainbow Phoenix was the first machine I beat all the Master Class Cups with.
Anyways, I'm keeping a keen eye on this fic.
You love those song references don't ya. Also liking the setting so far. one almost forgets that outside racing F-Zero dose have vast world to for storytelling. Thought I'm wondering will the story cover the fact F-zero and Star Fox Somewhat share the same universe? I mean the company that made the G-diffusers in Arwing used the same tech in the F-zero racing machines. That and all the nodes to each other in the games. (James Mccloud,Octoman,That one ending in Star Fox command)
Beautifully written chapter. I loved the interactions between Rainbow Dash an Scoots since it felt like a natural conversation between an adult and a teen going through some problems. I honestly like how you wrote Gilda here. I'm glad you gave her Samurai Goroh's character to cover some of her undesirable traits (on top of making the most sense). Can't wait for the next chapter.

I have to say that I didn't expect Applejack to be James McCloud. I really want to know more about why Twilight was crying though but this is starting to get real interesting. That test was annoying, but I'm glad Rainbow Dash could ace the test drive portion (Then again, she's Rainbow Dash based off of Captain Falcon). Great fic so far and very well needed.
Also, for future references, something tells me that Fluttershy would be Jody Summers?
