Trixie has struggled to live after her magic duel with Twilight. Ponies everywhere have heard of how she kicked the pony who saved Equestria twice out of Ponyville. She was starving, practically homeless, and was about just to give up on life that is before she is offered to be Princess Luna's student in Canterlot. Before she knows it, her life changes drastically. She gets reunited with family, becomes stronger and famous than her rival, makes friends, and even saves Equestria from a growing evil that even the mane 6 might not be able to stop.

I like this concept. Luna and Trixie have many similarities. They are both, how to put it, 'dark' counterparts to Celestia and Twilight and much of their motivations are similar (a need for respect and recognition, going about it in the wrong way).
I did not expect Celestia of all ponies to be that judgmental. Wow. On the other hand, Luna gets to be the dominant for once, which doesn't happen too often in fanworks, and stick up for Trixie. That's good.
Aw...Celestia. Why you such a jerk. I thought you learned your lesson. You should know this won't go well.
Hahah! Trixie is making her own friends! Sweet. Derpy can sympathise with her, I suspect. I have no objections to my two favorite ponies teaming up. The others seem like a fun matchup too, although they are oddly forgiving of her compared to how petty everypony else seems.
Rarity tends to be quicker than most to forgive Trixie in most fanfics, like here. Anyone know why? I'm not objecting, I just don't see exactly how outstanding forgiveness is a defining trait of hers. Curious.
Looking forward to seeing the dinner party. Trixie definitely has to bring her friends there, it will be awesome.

You do have a point in Rarity being more forgiving than the rest. But look at it this way, it's easier to get forgiveness from Rarity, Fluttershy and Pinkie Pie in contrast to Applejack, Rainbow Dash and of course Twilight because of their personalities. Just wait, and you'll see how the mane six will react when they find out who Luna's student is, especially Twilight.
